I definitely want in on this. I'll be happy to bring my Beretta Storm for people to try. Firing Line recently moved to a newer facility, that is still only a couple of miles from the Palladium Books office...might be worth looking into.

Picked mine up this afternoon. Good stuff, from what I've read so far. Now I just have to come to terms with not being able to pick up Dimensional Outbreak at the open house.

I'll just have to console myself with Shemarrian Nation and The Nightbane Survival guide.

I've always been a big fan of The Slayer OCC, from Mystic Russia. Not only is it an interesting and fun class, but the illustration is so fitting.

I would check out the Nightbane book: Nightlands. The section on creating magical artifacts might help you create a "ring of regeneration" type item.

The article says that the 6.8mm round delivers half again as much kinetic energy as the 5.56mm round. I'd say that translates into half again as much damage rpg-wise.

It's actually poor layout for a description: Specifically targets the arms and legs...but oh yeah, totally hoses you if you cast spells too.

correct: it actually says specifically it only paralizes arms and legs.

Does anyone know which rifter had the alchemist magic items (weapons, arrows) that could produce sunlight? I've checked through the rifter index, but could not find it.

So we had 6 books in the SoT series, and it looks like there will also end up being 6 books in the Minion Wars. Now we just need a third Palladium series with 6 books, and the universe will end!

I read most of Carl's manuscript for Dimensional Outbreak at the Open House in May, and played in the game he ran. This book is fantastic, I hope Kevin didn't change too much.

I really like the "meta-plot" information that gets printed in the books, and I wish there would be more of it. If nothing else, it gives the author's vision of how the timeline progresses, and some people, like myself, like incorporating that into their campaigns. It's far easier for a GM...

The group I am currently in games weekly, for 3-6 hours on average. When I was in college, the group I was in averaged twice a week with varying session length, and way back in high school, we averaged one session per day, sometimes more.

The idea behind nightbane having supernatural combat ability "roughly equivilant to HtH: martial arts" is to provide the average joe Nightbane with the skills to possibly survive. It is not meant to hamper someone with already superior combat skill. Unless otherwise stated in their morphus...
