Just saw "Horde"

A cool movie, I thought the zombies were similar to Dead Reign zombies in how much damage they could take. i see 3 guys unloading with what looked like 2 .45's and one 12g and I mean 29-33 shots hit center mass and it was still eatin' faces.

From a strictly nutrition stand point... DOG FOOD, everything you need, carbs, protein, proper fats. And just to be sure I would knock off a GNC/Max Muscle and nab a bunch of Animal Pak for good measure.

Good evening to you all, Any way, here is the deal. I vote immunity. No I mean really. If you've made it this far in the plague it is a great probability that you are in fact immune to the "virus." However, my next thoughts on this train are that in the last moments of life the immune syst...

Re: Your opinion on the GB's pylons

Okay, My thoughts and feelings on this. The Pylons are deployed before the gun is even fired. (Maybe only a split second but still). The reason for this is due to trying to pop 'em in a MDC material. So the GB is thinking about firing, deploys the pylons (maybe with gun in hand.), pulls trigger, the...

Re: Would coin money still be of value?

Gold is in fact heavier than lead. Meaning that the muzzle velocity should be less than lead given an equal volume, however because of the weight difference it would hit about as hard as lead. Energy = Mass x Velocity. For sake of example equations below: How much gun powder determines initial energ...

Open House 2010 Late Night Gaming Kobolds/Warhamster

Ladies and Gentleman, I am rolling down to the POH again this year and, well, I don't have enough experience running palladium to DM for the OH. This makes me feel bad. So, what to do about feeling bad. OFFER TO RUN SOMETHING I'M GOOD AT. Warhamster and Kobolds Ate My Baby are fun, I run them at con...

Re: Explosives

I agree with everyone else. It depends on the type, where and how it is used. Personally I think explosives are great buy, morons are normally the ones holding them, so long story short: a dumb person with explosives is a liability not an asset. They are infact going to ruin your day about 90% of th...

Re: Would coin money still be of value?

The one weakness of a crowbar... it is loud, sure using coins is loud, just not as loud. With a diabetic/caffeine addict in a party pop machines become sources of sugar and caffeine -- food. Plus you could roll a coin by a zombie in a pinch as a distraction. Honestly, I personally wouldn't carry a p...

Thanks for letting me know. Mumah is another great artist. Please note, that for the most part all the current freelance artists that Kev' has are really great. I got The Rifter 48 and I dig the art. Re: Would coin money still be of value?

I disagree that money is worthless in the new world. A pool table takes quarters and the balls can be thrown or used as a mobility denial system. A super bounce ball can make a handy distraction. A pop vending machine that still has power is a source of food. But as per trading and bartering, it is ...

Okay just got home. Stats for what was proposed as I can tell (I had to check my Hero's Unlimited pg 194 is where parts of this info are pulled.) # of attacks per melee should be players base + 1 but!!! The exoskeleton proposed in Heros Unlimited is way more advanced so I would give +1 to some one w...

Re: acid damage to zombies

I dig the idea of the mech. With a small gas generator. This would be able to run considerably longer if it was hydrolicly powered. However 5mph would be more the top speed. With a TI alloy skeleton with lexan windshield would be near invincable combo vs any human ps. Exposed lines are easy to cover...

Acid could have it's uses. See m -- Sulfuric acid could be used in the tip of a lead bullet. If during a head shot the remaining moisture left in the brain would allow the Acid to work it's magic on the Zed's Brain. I would give it a 2 damage direct to brain hit points each melee for d4+4 melees. Or...

The book is better than I have come to expect from Kevin and crew. He kicked it up 3-4 notches with this one. Being a motorcycle rider. Fixing anything to your bike that will ever strike anything and not break away is a REALLY bad idea. I will say that anything you attach would have to be mounted behind the handle bars and likely to the frame. If piercing zeds is your shtick some dangers that I'll warn you ...

It would be a mix of Ghost Busters, Bio-shock and Fallout 3. Sorry something about the holy trinity of video games from the ...
