Re: creating permanant copies of objects: can it be done
There are a couple issues I have with that. 1) it presumes that the shavings would stick around 2) it presumes that the repairs will magically create material to 'fix it' I would be VERY likely to be inclined to say that the shavings will 'evaporate' at that same rate....I.E. the damaged parts retu...

Re: creating permanant copies of objects: can it be done
it requires a Rifter class. the animator (which is quickly becoming one of the most broken classes that I have found) from Rifter #26. at level 9 he can create constructs that repair themselves over time, 2d6 every 30 seconds. if you take a chunk of gantrium (either raw, or forged in non magical fir...

creating permanant copies of objects: can it be done
Just wondering if anyone knows a way in the rules to create a permanent copy of a non magical item.
to be more specific I'm trying to increase the supply of a metal without having to mine it. I've looked for a while but haven't found anything that does the trick.

Re: Tricks and tactics to laying sedge to a castle/town/etc
here's a fun trick, it requires a level 5 diabolist and a level 7 animator (rifter 26). the diabolist puts runes on a plate, 1 fire immunity, 1 trigger (on fire), and a bunch of aoe fire damage runes. then, the animator gives them all the ability to fly, and gives one of them firebolt. one firebolts...

Re: what percentage of bandits are augmented or magic?
I usually do light to medium MDC gear, enough to give the players a challenge, but not so much it will kill them. I understand that most bandits are Sdc dudes with nothing but a T-shirt and dads old wilks 320 if their lucky. but that doesn't make for interesting fights most of the time.

how to make a rune weapon
I know that in all the books it says that it is impossible, and nobody knows, or anything like that, but, there are enough beings that can make rune swords, and then the dwarven librarians probably saved at least one book on the subject, and I'm sure there are a few other ways, for a PC to learn run...

so, I thought a while back that TWs were kinda wimpy, because they need time to make anything cool, and not too many players want to sit around while the TW wrenches on something that may not even work. so to prove myself wrong I decided to make the most badass piece of TW gear in the history of for...

so, i'm still not quite understanding the reason for renting a car. if it's two miles to the OH and there's a burger king and an outback steakhouse just two blocks away, that's all within easy walking distance, unless this place doesn't have the best neighborhood.

shark force, lanwen is correct in my opinion, you are reading the spell as if it says "you move as if you're speed was doubled", instead it says "double your speed", you have a speed, that speed was doubled, therefore if you double your speed again you double your new speed, not ...
