I like the Combat Truck and Dunebuggy (forget the official names atm) in the Arzno book. Not fancy or anything, I just like the look and the practicality of well designed basic vehicles.

to be honest without something like the "smart gun" links (in shadowrun) or a movie example Robocop where a camera/gunsight camera exists on the weapon that can project an aimpoint picture into the persons sight for each weapon, actually "aiming" more than one gun is seriously problematic anyway ...

I would use the Robot Combat in WB8 for Elite, as a player or GM, after reading up I came to the conclusion that it's the most balanced way to do it.

44 and online mostly - I would love the chance for table top play but no one in my area to play with, it's a wasteland as far as Rifts is concerned. Hoping to get a small group together but schedules is killing it.

RUE is most current rule set I have, and the starting H2H is generally 4 (I believe Assassin is 3, and my book is not handy so not sure for Dragon).
Of course you could always just redo the H2H using DR tables for the time the party is there and switch back afterwards.

I would go with the RUE rules if all the other chars are made with those, to keep it fair. If the other chars are RMB then the WB:Canada rules would apply so there is no advantage.

I haven't looked at the PF books so I don't know if they use the older style H2H tables where you have to add 2 attacks that everyone gets. (2 attacks + 2 attacks from H2H = 4 attacks) The newer tables have those added in already (in Rifts for example)

Or you could get a pistol and carbine with the same caliber so you only have one ammo type to carry. I have a DR character with a Colt 44.40 revolver and a 44.40 Winchester lever. the Naruni Enforcer PA (I think that's what its called) the "Law Enforcement" one, the forearm foam guns can shoot water (gives damage for vamps), the grenade launchers can use anti-vamp grenades, not sure how well the stunner would work (don't have books handy). I wonder if the Semper Fi PA from WB7 that the New Navy uses is derived from the SAMAS? It wouldn't need the wings and the thrusters would be different but seems a likely thought?

You can dodge a blast radius because it is an attack, it has a strike roll and the rules under combat explicitly state that you can attempt to dodge any successful attack.

Conforming to the character's body = the field not being a sphere or blob shape around the character but following the shape of the body. Did I clarify what I meant this time? I thought we were talking about the Field's shape and coverage, if the character has 4 arms then it would cover the 4 arms ...

Actually Tor, it does say the pet dog across the planet isn't protected.
It surrounds the psychic's body (so unless the psychic is half a world big...) and excludes in his/her hands, worn on his/her head, and hanging from his/her back

OK I would agree about exo-suits or PAs not being covered bur and personal armor would be, the description says surrounds the body of the psychic not that it's skin tight. And EBA suits can be less bulky than some Non-EBA suits, so I don't see a problem there, if you want to say it can't be sealed ...

IMHO the Bow and SMG rules need fixing also, among other things.
I mean SMGs can fire single rounds, not always bursts and the damage is horrible compared to a pistol firing the same bullet LOL

I don't see how it plays havoc, we treat these things as unbypassable, same as always. If the GM wants to house-rule an AR for the Millenium Leaf ponchos and Altara swimsuits (akin to Cyber-Armor or NGR's MDC clothing) and make them not protect from missiles, it doesn't seem outrageous at all ...

I consider them to be separate things. They have separate damage pools and different repair costs in sourcebook 1.

I say the non-main locations take damage in AoA, common sense here.

Depleting MDC of Main Body will shut down the Bot/PA making it useless according to the asterisks marked notes in the individual Bot/PA description, I basically consider it to shot to pieces.

The Wolfen Quatoria in a Phaseworld setting, the Mantis 'borg from Russia is very cool, but the 'borg I would play in a NA setting right now would be a Mining 'Borg, just to have a different feel.

I stack. Easiest fastest most efficient way to keep track. I also allow the two hand to hand combats per character. Expert Martial Artist, Etc. And they stack. Only use that in fantasy settings gives a guy with two swords and plate mail a chance to hang in a sword fight with a SAMAS.
