they can but their body won't magically reappear.
They will just be a living head for about 2 seconds and then die again.

Tell me because ibthink it works this way. In the part where you roll to see if the cosmo knight attributes are better and you keep the better one, does that count for the MDC. For example: I made a true Norse giant, and his MDC is well alot, do I keep it or the cosmo knight roll, or do they add?

No. Nightbane is a race of beings onto themselves. Kinda like asking if a frost giant can become a spirit of light. It is possible that a Nightbane could have a Morphus much like a Algor Frost Giant, but not for either one to actually be the other. Also, probably more of a Palladium Fantasy or Nigh...

sounds like sambells character was made with the immortal category of heros unlimited out of one of the powers unlimited books. it's easily the stupidest, most munchkin, and unbalanced category ever. eugenics is pretty bad too. all around, i'd call bs on the character. and never allow it in my game...
