Just some specific numbers for use with Rock to Mud. The type of rock people build with is generally pretty heavy stuff. Granite is a good example. Granite has an average density of approximately 2.7 grams per cubic centimeter, a number which is roughly what you'll get with many common rocks (sandst...

If I understand your argument correctly, it sounds like you feel that taking anything but "the best" is illogical or non-sensical, and that the GM should not do anything but what's in writing. If that's your belief, then I can't tell you you're wrong - paired weapons is the most powerful s...

You are correct there aren't rules for it. This isn't that other game, where there's a chart for everything. The rules are that the G.M. is the boss. Do not let some player try to rules-lawyer you by claiming "it doesn't say that in the book!" So what? It doesn't say the opposite, either. ...

In a BTS game I ran, I had some poker chips I'd use. When I'm playing a proper campaign, I want that dang exposition. It's important to figure out where you are in the world, have time to plot and scheme, figure out motivations, etc. I don't mind a bit of a scrap if it is part of the exposition itself, necessary for setting the background, but I reall...

I'm surprised not to hear a suggestion of Land of the South Winds yet. It's not laid out in any book, so you're free to integrate the setting as you please. What we do know of it is that it's full of squabbling feudal lords, and a sovereign dukedom with a usurper sounds like a solid fit.

The backflip with the extra bonus simply indicates an additional bonus to dodge when using the backflip. It's a more highly trained one, hence the bonus. The pe...
