Re: How advanced were the ancient Dwarves?
Have we seen the most advanced dwarven cities from before the Elf-Dwarf war... or merely the more distant outposts? Just because we haven't seen advanced magi-tech items of dwarven manufacture doesn't mean that they didn't exist. The Elf-Dwarf War raged for thousands of years and ended some seven t...

Stating out a ruined dwarves hold and I'm wondering just how advanced they were 10,000 years ago. Were they using full Magi-Tech stuff like floating platforms as elevators and trams? We know the elves had flying ships.

So I've looked through all the books I have and I can't seem to find a price for silvered weapons anywhere, only that magical classes start with them sometimes.

Re: Male ogre breeding slavers and female human PCs
Going off what people have already said, your average peasant is not going to be trying to fight back against an Ogre. The average Ogre will not only have an 18 or so strength, they'll also have about 30 SDC whereas a peasant only has about 3 (non Men-At-Arms classes only getting 1d6). So the Ogre h...

I would have the last bandit force attack them first, as part of the 'consolidating' their territory as you say. I wouldn't think it would, as a lot of their spells specify that they don't work on magical weapons. Really that's the only balancing factor given the Blade Mage, those guys are scary as all heck. I mean, armed with a dwarves claymore and this guy can do almost as much damage as a greater rune weapon.

depends on how harsh the terrain is. If food is plentiful and winters mild you would have ~200 women and ~200 men and ~50 kids (from baby to teen) With mild conditions there would be more old and young so there would be less fighters. With 20 fighters and maybe 100 others (out of the total population of about 300, the "others" represent those physically capable of fighting, but lack training), against 200 coyles, you're looking at a pretty nasty fight, likely to be very heavily slanted against the villagers. But, avera...
