Don't get to happy about Vin having producer credits. That usually means the actor has a part of the gross. It often hasn't a thing to do with who got the movie made.

I don't know the current status of the movie, but Jerry B left Disney recently. He said he couldn't do all the movies that he wanted too with them. Maybe Rift's is one of them and now that he's not with Disney he will get moving on the pitcher.

As the GM in my group I make my rolls hidden. It allows me to spare a pc if I feel like it.

Go ahead and give them a tank, but don't make it easy on them. Expensive armor repair, finding fuel, ammo costs, and don't forget jobs. They will need to earn money to pay for it all. A tank is only munchkin if you do everything for them. Make life hard on them.

Rifter 56 has some stuff for Rift's space. Hero's Unlimited Galaxy Guide and Aliens Unlimited can all be converted for use in Rift's.

A new tattoo category sounds like a good solution. Trying to call them monster tats or weapon tats is just not reasonable. A new category with some new tricks thrown in makes more sense.

After all magic tattoo's can create weapons and biological constructs, why not a bio-melee weapon.

I not really happy with the way psionics are resolved in the Palladium system, so I'm wondering if any one else has house ruled something different.
