Again, both the Proctor (which is used as a light frigate to patrol "light" areas) and the Scimitar have sizeable cargo space. Of course they are not able to transport away the stuff from a mining colony (except maybe from gemstone mines or even gold mines)... IMO with nanotech manufactur...

Nope, it is the structural damage done to the ship.
However d4*100 MDC is in the range of a nuclear warhead, so for a chance of 10% per 250 mph,
this damage is way too high.

Just for missiles CG propulsion:
The ruleset above was submitted to fit the existing 3galactic ships.
Now, some ships have statted out missile sizes and weights - the Runner ship in DMB2, to begin with.
And those sizes and weights make chemical propulsion impossible. Period.

Yepp, that's why most starships still pack slugthrowers or at least missiles.
