Re: Help finding Coalition NPCs in my books "Lybock?"
Had a quick flick through couldn't find him there, I think it was "Colonel Thaddeus Lyboc" though I may be very confused he had like 3 or 4 sub Lieutenants, in think including a Kill Hound. I seem to recall he may have been involved with the black market and generally a bit dodgy! It might...

Help finding Coalition NPCs in my books "Lybock?"
Hi there, I have pretty much everything Rifts and was trying to find which book had stats for NPCs; specifically it was a Coalition General or Colonel I think in charge of Intelligence or something, I seem to recall him heading up policing of the Burbs or Chi Town. Name may have been "Lybock&qu...

Re: Name the artists...
Hmmm I want to say it's Larry MacDougall. But I have a hard time finding ANY of his Rifts or Earthdawn stuff online, the pics of his I can find are almost all full colour painted stuff.
I'd love to be able to get large versions of his pics on my PC for wallpaper etc. Assuming it is him!

Hi I'm away from my MB right now can anyone tell me the name of the artist who did some stuff for the early editions of the old RMB. He did the art for my avatar (the guys takign cover and firing) he drew the D-bee with the Mac-10 looking silenced gun that everyone loved and eventually it got statte...

I'd use one of two solutions: 1) Failing a roll in circumstances where this would be bummer is instead success with a complication. e.g. I messed up my demolitions roll, GM: ok well you manage to set the explosives but the timing mechanism was off and it's going to blow in 30 seconds. Or I missed my...

I'd just keep it simple and assume anything like that is factored into the dodge bonus of the craft. If I wanted to add any more bonuses specifically from chaff and the like then I'd still just add it into the dodge somehow. Combat is quite long enough, with quite enough rolls and counter rolls with...

Wow, I've never had anyone ask me to do that and I certainly wouldn't comply either unless it was something I was dying to play. I like the book so far except for much of Brashaw's art. It looks like he just got stoned then doodled some crap and then in it went. There are exceptions (the Phantom Wolf is great) but most of the stuff he's drawn is just plain goofy, not scarey or weird but goofy. It hurts the book as much as the...

It's trying to get a better handle on things like movement and fighting from a vehicle. Also the way taking martial arts and boxing makes you a faster spell slinger, or lets you do anything faster. Training to fight should only make fighting faster, in fact I'd rather see number of attacks broken do...

Everyone gets 2 actions per melee, regardless of training. These are the only actions that can be used for movement / non-combat actions. Additional actions (attacks) granted by hand to hand skills are only used for attacking a target that you can engage without significant movement or dodging. Psyc...

I'm running a solo game for a friend in this area, I've read the main book stuff on it, and the section about chi-town in the CWC, but where can I find more info on this area and the ruins of old chicago. and lastly where is the info on the coalition head honcho who is supposed to be deeply involved...

Nice spot thanks, I'll dig it out tonight and read up on it. I can't wait to use a lot of these nasties in Madhaven. I had a question about the (going off memory here) Molloi zombie-vampires (the hand eaters). It says vulnerabilities standard: silver, wood, magic blah, blah. But nowhere does it say that they are invulnerable. So do they take damage as normal ...

Have these 2 issues been fixed in RUE or elsewhere?
I was looking through a couple of books at skills and one of the newer H2H definitions (AtB) and then 2 things jumped right out at me and annoyed me immensely. 1) You are better off without Archery / Targetting (since without it you get 1 ranged attack per H2H attack) so most characters start out wi...

MDC weapons and armour are supposed to make you as power as a tank (or was it division of tanks) but OUR era tanks SDC tanks. Now allowing for 100 SDC = 1 MD A player in MDC armour with an MD pistol could wipe out a lot of modern tanks, assuming they were in range blah blah, before getting creamed. ...

I'd like to see it. The whole choosing a small set of Pa, Robots / Tanks / APC's and Guns / Grenades to represent what the army actually uses is something I've always wanted to do (and will do next time I run Rifts). I'd like to chime in on the fallacy of Kev not wanting insta kills.
