Best OCCs for new players
So... it's been awhile since I've played RIFTS. What are some good OCCs/RCCs to start new players out with and learn the rules?

Toc Rat Wrote In most cases, anything Magic can do, Tech can do, only faster, cheaper and more of it. This is true as we all saw in SoT. The CS was able to defeat the Tolkeinites due to numbers and the fact that it took far less time to aim an E-weapon and pull the trigger several times. Also you ha...

That would be kinda cool if Erin Tarn is a evil SI . Say she has plans of dominating earth and is trying to paint a bad picture of the CS so that it is less likely they will recive aid form other nations. Ohhhh, I'm gonna run with that for my campign restart here next week. DO IT! DO IT!!!! We all ...

What kinda zombies? Just mindless undead or a more sinister type that can think and act on it's own? Also who created them, an ancient god, necromancer, or cult serving an alien intelligence looking for a foot hold into our world? For mindless zombies I would go for low mental attributes and speed, ...

Due to the sizes of ley lines, I would imagine it would be hard to draw them all up. Personally, it's nice for me as a GM to have a ley line whereever I want one. That's how I do it. Where ever I need one I put one and then note where it is for future reference. If you go this route I suggest getti...

Re: Old Main book vs Ulitmate
Is there anywhere I can find the changes and/or additions to the main book that is in the Ultimate edition? Or should I just basically have the two book open and go page by page and see what is different. See We are 2 sessions in to a campaign from old mainbook but may like to switch to Ultimate. W...

It depends on the book you're buying. When you consider the artwork in each book versus the two companies as well as rule cohesion and the balance between fluff and substance, Palladium can often feel like a ripoff. I still love it, but there are tons of problems that fill pages that could have bee...
At least when you buy a Palladium book you don't feel like you've just been mugged. Especially when you compare the price of a WotC book to the amount of pages in it. I would rather have a well, done reasonably priced book that is late comin' out than a price gouged one that isn't (IMHO) near the qu...
I believe it's supposed to come out around the time that rabbits write books and men are but a myth . All joking a side, Palladium is doing their best unfortunately (or fortunately) they aren't the mega-publisher that witches....I mean sissies....no, no wizards, yeah Wizards of the Coast are . I'm s...

But, then again my opinion is biased seeing as how Rifts is my favorite RPG and I truly believe that Palladium Books is the only RPG company truly dedicated ...

Well. You could say that Hitler was an agent of the Darklords also Stalin, Nero ?, or any other crazy or diabolical ruler. WWII would be cool. Adventure ideas from where you live
The area around you probably has one or more BTS adventure ideas. What are they? Maybe an unsolved murder, a house that's said to be haunted, a ghost sighting, or other. I live on the Isle of Wight near Midway, Ga which is on the marsh. About 30 miles south of Savannah, Ga the second most haunted ci...

Yes, a FORMER assassin would make a great bodyguard. But then you'd be hiring a bodyguard, not an assassin... Yes a bodyguard with assassin skills. That would be an assassin converting from Anarchist-diabolic to Principled-Unprincipled. It just shows him using his OCC skills in a different capacity...
