Re: chaos earth survival game
I'm looking to start off a Chaos Earth game in a more survival mode and have it shift to a more standard style game after I feel the mood is established. The problem I'm having Is that I still want some fights in the earlier part of the game (the apocalypse, naturally) and since the pcs will begin u...

Old HeMan on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 8. New HeMan on same scale to me was a 5 or even a 6. Just like the new transformers they lost alot in trying to update it to the kids of today. The New HeMan just didnt have the same feel and other factors to me. True enough that it was a different feel. Even ...

I don't like where this question is going. How much MDC/SDC does dirt have? How far down does dirt exist beneath the earth's crust? How much damage would it take to destroy a planet, or at least blow a hole through it? Off topic, how much MD do you think an asteroid would do? You know if it hit the...

I agree, Calgary Rift monster Kingdom is what I'm thinking. It could be great. That said, I also think it will involve the Palladium world. It doesn't bother me since I don't play in that setting so they can't mess it up for me. On the downside, I'll probably have to buy 3-5 PF books to make use of ...

There are a few things wrong with that. Firstly, Glitter Boys are immune because they have Full Environmental Shielding which is one of the listed things that can block or negate the nerual zap from the stun weapon. That's the primary means of guarding against the mace and such weapons in the first...

Our group doesn't name itself often. Recently the group was given a name. The best part was that they were named after a charismatic character who had recently joined the group; charismatic to the townsfolk, ill-liked by the characters. Now imagine: he died shortly afterwards, but the name stuck. "R...

If it's Psychic it's food. So a mage or any RCC/OCC would have to possess Psychic abilities to some extent to be 'Edibile'. Mages are safe from feeding. So whay say Psi-Stalkers are Anti-magc? Maybe thats Stalkers don't like them...oh well. Animals have "naturally inactive" Psychic abilites so they...

That being that the Coalition States are far from the only human nation out there and that being the case are not the only way humans will continue to not only survive but thrive on Rifts Earth. Magic, as it exists in Rifts Canon, is **** laughable. This is why reasonable spells aren't reacted to the same way as the linked particles communication or 1d6x10 per shot sniper rifles. There are specific areas of technology that are almost as laughable as Magic in Rifts - tanks and giant robots ...

Actually, my character in Darkwind's "Deadly Future" campaign has Mega-Wings. I chose the summonable option for MW because it tied in nicely with his other major ability -- Bio Armor. I don't like the summonable option. It's a power thing, you lose 40 SDC net in flight and 100 on the ground, so I usually go with another option. I can see where you'd arrive at that conclusion, but I honestly don't see a logical explanation why a Mega-Wings character should have more SDC in flight...

Remember that killing your opponent is not necessarily a reason to drop in alignment. Murdering your opponent would be, however, but that's a different story. If killing your opponent were automatically a "bad thing", you wouldn't earn EXP for "killing or subduing" your menaces, minor, major and gr...
