My favorite is the Parapsychologist.
Even if everyone in the party is playing a psychic of some kind, if I can play my Parapsychologist, I am a happy gamer.

In BtS all by itself, I don't think there has ever been a PCC that was over-used in any of the games I've been in.

Pretty clever. Instead of asking what people think the most over used class is, you actually find out what it is (as far as with forum posters, anyways).

The best class in 1st edition would have to be the Arcanist. The lore skills of a parapsy plus ~20 magic spells= Teh Win. There was a way for them to contribute to any investigation. If their book comes out, we'll see if they're still awesome.

Corporeal monsters are no trouble to deal with, any class armed with an automatic rifle can handle them; but entities, those are the tricky ones. In 1st edition, if you didn't have an arcanist or your group didn't use Mystic China, you were screwed. Now there are a number of classes and psychic powers that can fight incorporeal beings.

IMX, the 1st edition psychic sensitive was over-used. There were at least two in every group.


I usually got a balance of Arcanists, Nega-Psychics, Parapsychologists, Normal People (College students who were studying under one of the Parapsychologists), Psi-Mechanics, and a Natural/Physical.

Yeah, but I nearly answered without reading the poll, clicking on the one that I thought was the "most overused class", which wouldn't be the same as what I play.

I've always been more than partial to Psi-Mechanics, but the normal person/victim and parapsychologists are a very close second and third places

I think I like the Genius and the Latent Psychic the best. But someday I totally want to play the Autistic Savant. simply for the RP challenge.

Nega-psychic or ordinary human. Unfortunatly, I think most OCC's in BtS are too powerful.

Ghost Hunter has a Blade feel to it. I think it would go great in Nightbane too!
