That's right, everybody's favourite gun totin' monster killin' borderlien psychoctic Ron Caliburn has reached 700 posts.

So, where are the rest of y'all at?

I suspect some of you with multi-IDs are in that territory either - but we really need to launch some more people, to get the board more active.

Any suggestions.

i'm at 20 posts....with my last post beings September 26th, 2005.

yeah, that's bad. to be honest, there hasn't been much to intrest me over there. too many wacko's, not enough investigators. (and by wacko's, i mean people who seem to have mistaken it for a HU2 or N&SS site. the nightbane people don't bother me as much, those you can work in.)

Yeah, we have a self proclaimed vampire running around now.

Even the system's failure work in isn't so bad - being handled as a small scale sort of thing rather than a massive world wide invasion - yet

The Lazlo Society is an in character message board representign the operations of the fictional message board operated by the Lazlo Agency in the BTS book.

Most common uses are

1) Posting real world occurances that may make good nuggets for creatign adventure hooks

2) Posting GM information for players to actually read on the site for use later in game

3) Posting narrative descriptions of your sessions - or short stories

4) Interactive story telling - which resembles PBP closest. Basically a few of us PM and email each other a story idea, work up an overall story, then post the in character narration of the story.

I haven't seen those, although one guy was teleporting around, and there are an awful lot of Fuel Air Explosives and Desert Eagles.

Well I think most people have heard my comments on Desert Eagles in character.

it's possible that things have calmed down a bit since i stopped reading.

but for example, i found myself debunking a player's Psychic premonition that a group of scientists under the orders of a group of demons were planning to launch a probe containing a 'strange' mineral into the core of the sun, which would create a massive solar flare that was intended to destroy the earth. he was putting a call out for hero's to stop it.

sounds more like Superman than X-files, if you know what i mean.

ah, here it is

that was one of the worst. most of the stuf fthat caused me to lose intrest was the cavalier way people approached the roleplay. a case of 'too many players, not enough GM's". like the desert eagles and FAE's, with nothing to control their over active imaniations, they've been running a bit wild.

Gah! Yeah, I remember that one. I pretend it's a warning on the unreliability of divination.

The thing about that that always bothered me (aside from the obvious), is that Earth is a playground for the Supernatural, thus any self-respecting demon wouldn't want to destroy his playground.

Unless he was allied to the Apocalypse Demons...and any such ally probably wouldn't want to be anywhere where Ley Line Energy is so low.
