Palladium-Con or Open House?
So since Kevin says there will be an Open House next year, do y'all think it should be Open House or PalladiumCon?
Yeah I like guns.

If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.

There's a reason...and a very good one...that I have certain people in this forum blocked both here and on Facebook.
I can see an illustration of that nearly every time I come here.

I'm not sure the Taylor Fire Marshall would think so. Especially since there are residential homes behind the warehouse (just the other side of the field). A bonfire would be a bad thing

Bonfires?
You can certainly grill (even for hundreds of people) without a bonfire.
Oh great...now I'm hungry.

I was thinking of honest to goodness grills...as in Weber. Nothing unsafe...just five or six barbecues running and cooking up brats, chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs.

I second the grilling idea, so long as those doing the cooking do not believe that ketchup (by any name) constitutes barbecue sauce.

I say Open House + BBQ for the win. I'm already there... it would take one heck of an event (not going to call Murphy by going into specifics) for me not to come back. I'm pretty sure that everyone that was with me last time (and maybe a few more) will come back as well.
As far as what I'm doing? "Sins of the Forefathers" WILL be run in its entirety if I have ANYTHING to say about it! So, DLDC, Eryk, Mrs. Stormbright, Leonardo, you guys HAVE to make it back too, y'hear?!

Whatabout a spit-roast? They can be done in an enclosed BBQ.
Silly gmask1, we can fill up the space with games.

From what indications I've seen, there should be more people there next time. Perhaps we'll need the floor space.

Will have to make sure I rent a car next time so I don't have to go around begging for rides:
That and maybe consider a different hotel. I don't know about the rest of you who stayed at the Ramada, but I was put off a bit by the condition of the rooms (at least the rooms I was put in).
However, it would be nice if we better organized some after hours events.

I think that you must have heard Glen Beck. He does some kind of Mr. Obvious bit.
I've been accused of that many times. Sorry.

"Palladium Open House" makes the event sound down to Earth and accesible (which it is), plus it is fairly unique.
IMO, "Palladium-Con" sounds too mechanical and corporate - too cliched.
