TAYLOR WHITE - NECROMANCER

I know that Taylor brought many of his DVDs to sell, but ended up giving them away to alot of fans who wanted to see his films. Has anyone watched them? What did you all think?

In the first film, "Go Talk to Her" you can see RIFTS silver edition and a HU gold on the table. Its pretty funny.

The film "Ncromancer" is AWESOME. If only he had a bigger budget...grrrr.

..Man, That blows, I didn't even know that was going to happen..

..I'm about half done with the dv into the comp, so I'll probably get it mailed off tomorrow. I'm going to do a few screen caps before I send it off though..

"Necromancer"?

Taylor, do you realize that your film shares a name with an obscure Russian flik....a very odd and nasty one at that?

im sure "Necromancer" has been used for a variety of films, books, songs, whatever. It's not a particularly clever title.

Okay, let me ask you this. At what point in the film did you realize what was going on, and what the "plot" of the voices was? Me and Steve, my music composer/sound guy, had a discussion on how much voice-over was really necessary. He felt that I could have cut a lot of it out. He felt that I was getting too close to shoving the story down people's throats and that they would get it without half the voice-overs. I disagreed, but compromised. But I still wonder if maybe he was right. On the one hand, I want the film to be "intelligent" enough to be thought-provoking, but accessible enough that the average person would grasp it.

oh btw jeff im over halfway done with Warpath and I'm loving it. very cool stuff

yeah so i have to apologize to everyone who got a copy of my DVD at the Open House. I didn't know the soundtrack on "Go Talk to Her" was out of sync. It was perfect when I added it, somehow the DVD transfer messed it up. So now I have like 30 DVDs out there with messed up soundtracks, some given to very important people..

I didn't check to see if the transfer was good when I made my first copy, and that was laziness on my part. So once again I apologize. Sometimes I really hate digital video.
