If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.

There probably are that many at the very least. I think it's one of those things Palladium left up to each individual GMs for their campaigns.

I honestly think between 200 and 500 at any given time. given new recruits, fallen knights, and just plain death, there's never been any more than that at any given time.

A small number of nights is definatly right but small in space is relative. 50, 000 knights is a small number givent the millions and millions of planets there are in the three galaxies. Im not suggesting there are 50, 000 knights but offering it as a "small number" relative to space. I would suggest there are several thousand knights active at any time and more can be called upon as the three galixies fall into peril (Carl, looking forward to killing the minions).

However if that figure is 1 in every 100 system has one CK, then that is somewhat more acceptable.
And frankly, Nekira, I couldn't agree more, but ain't 500 active CK a little too small a force? 501 is far superior a number.
Ah, your forgetting something. it's not about how many would be nice to have. it's about how many beings are WORTHY. those beings are few and far between. So yes, 501 is better than 500. fact is, I seriously doubt there are more than 500 beings worthy of being a cosmo knight in the three galaxies at any given time. I strongly suspect the actual population is usually in the 200's.

Carl, please don't slaughter the endangered species, it is against the cosmic law, which are, incidently, up held by those being killed off.
Don't worry darkmax. I was just joking, and don't even suggest that in the manuscript. Lets just say there will be a "new" beings on par with CK's and well their main arsenal is magic

I decided on a number of Cosmo Knights for my game last night. I'm going with one CK for every 100,000 stars. For population number they will have a tiny over all population. But that means that there will be a decent number to start out Carl's Minion war in my game. Remember I said in my game this is the number I have decided on. I'm not telling anyone it's a perfect number. But if people want to use, please go ahead and use it.

Think about the number of stars in the three Galaxies. That means something like 150 to 200,000 of them by estimate in my game. I don't have any phase world books for the confirmation of the star numbers.

I think this is an exellent formula. Givent the number of stars in the three galaxies you should have a population into the many thousands which sounds right for galactic enforcers of truth and justice. As Carl has mentioned even that number will not be enough.

It just sounded like a good round number considering the amount of space there is in the 3 Galaxies. I feel confident in the number that I set as my base too.

Hey Darkmax, that is a very TINY number compared to the number of stars in the 3G's. There really are not enough to stop any major event, unless the forge creates more. Just think about the number of stars in this galaxy. The number of CK wouldn't even be equal to the pop of decent sized city on the Earth.
