Prop's in things
Hey guys, I just thought I'd let you know what I'm up to. My friends are big into anime and cosplay. I do it on occasion but I'm more of a fan and maker of the props. I plan on actually making up some tw weapon replica's (I'll be making a Draining Blade for my costume guarenteed, and hopefully a firebolt rifle). I hope to make more to ship down, what are you guys thinking on doing?

Just a quick reminder - if you're flying in, and putting those props in your checked baggage, make sure to let the airline know what you've got there. Even a replica weapon in a checked bag could cause problems.
Carry-ons, obviously, are a no-go.
If you're shipping your weaponry, no problem, so long as it gets there on time.
I'm running in to that problem myself. I don't really trust shipping my stuff to get it there, but if I were to try and check the bag, it would have to be one of those roller cases you could fit a person in, and would weight well over 50 pounds, with just the necessary gear and nothing else. I'll probably do that and pay the overweight charge, rather than risk it in the mail, but I'm still paranoid.
