I'm probably thinking about some of the things Kitsune has. There might some collision rules somewhere. I don't remember. Wait! Wouldn't the rules for the gun on the UWW Patrol craft! You could use that little rule for colliding with the ice it produces for ships.

I think there might be, but I don't have my books here. They are back at my apartment.

Why wouldn't the shuttle land nearby and have it's operative us the OP field just to slide under the shield. That way they could slip in and out without notive. Beside I don't think a shuttle would be able to penetrate a force field of a prison if it was from a large starship. You would need some sort of force field disruptor.

How fast is the shuttle going when it hits the field?
If it is going under Mach 1 (720 mph) then it will inflict 3D6 points of damage for every 10 mph it was going.
If it is moving faster than Mach 1 (720 mph), then it will inflict 3D6 points of damage for every mph it was travelling!
So, as an example, a CAF Assault Shuttle (400mph in atmo) would do up to 720 points of damage. But if you hit that field with a long-range interceptor (Mach 2.5 in atmo) then the field takes 32, 400 points of damage!
have fun

If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.

Braden, where can we find those rules? In your upcoming book?
Those are the Vehicle Impact Damages from Ninjas & Superspies. Note that those damages are technically SDC, but I would just make it all MDC for ease of play.

I know shields stop Phase tech. I've used them enough. But does the shield actually surround the facility or does it stop just below the surface of the planet? If it stops just below the surface you could still the phase tech to penetrate the facility.

the prison is located on a remote moon/world and is shielded by a force field, which could easily be massive as any starship.
the idea is to drop a shuttle out of orbit and ram the field, bringing it down, while the pair inside (pilot and co-pilot) phase out using an OP-field belt.
natch, there's a couple of bodies inside the shuttle to make it look a bit more like an accident...
I'm just wondering how much damage game-wise it can do ?
100s ?
probably 1000s, after seeing that crater in Arizona from that meteor.
shuttle is only about 35 feet long, weighing about 10 tons/20,000 lbs.
I would use the damage for the mass driver found in 3G. The weight of the shuttle is close to the same as the rocks the mass driver throws. Dont have 3g with me to get a page ref.

We had real books not PDFS and we carried them on carts we pulled ourselves that we built by hand. We had Thaco and we were happy. If we needed dice we carved ours out of wood. Petrified wood just because we could.

Then you could use the PT to penetrate from the under the shield. Personally I've used englobing shields. Those can prevent penetration by PT.
