Let your Metztla run free...
You guys do of course realise that a single Kreewar Carapace Metztla has more MDC than a Kreeghor Doomsday Machine?
So just imagine the terror that is going on in the Thundercloud Galaxy now that the Splugorth Kingdom of Desslyth has released all the Metztla from its service, and set them free to settle where ever they want...

If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.
I just wonder, how the Metzla will solve the problem
of interstellar travel...
...but given the fact, that Star Hives do it regularly,
they probably have a way.

But still, one of the most basic rules for survival on any planet is never to upset someone wearing black leather - This is why protesters against the wearing of animal skins by humans unaccountably fail to throw their paint over Hell's Angels.

Oh, they were loaded into cheap Splugorthian transports and rocketed to random locations throughout the galaxy. They themselves cannot rtravel through space.

Make it so they can, the thundercloud could use some new interstellar villans. I cant think of anything worse than a metzla transport shell drifting through space to colonize new worlds.

Petrified wood just because we could.

Grab a Shifter in your tentacles...force him or her to open a dimensional door...apply pressure until he complies...

The "higher" ranking Metzla are rather intelligent.
Besides, without proper space-superiority means (ie.
fleet) any civilisation, however power they are otherwise
is rather defenseless against orbital bombardment.

Now again, trying to derail the topic: how the Star Hives
travel from star to star?
a, as sleeper ships - in that case, once they are detected
they will be plinked to the death.
b, somehow we must find a way for dimensional/FTL
transport for - really - powerfull psionics. Astral realms
maybe?

That might be, although they haven't demonstrated any sort of hive mind. That makes creating a hive for things without a hive mind difficult. They'd be able to surpass the problem eventually, but not in the immediate future.

Just like democracy. In some cases it works well, in others
it - appearently - does not.

I know some others who have been as lucky as you Darkmax! And I'll always say prayers for those people.

Ok, I will!
And now back to the topic.
Hope do you herd metzla? What sort of mounts would you use to do that? Battleships.
