There are a few mods I wouldn't mind having, if I had the patience to assemble and paint them. And when I say a few, I literally mean like 3 or 4.

These guys, on the other hand, I wouldn't mind patronizing if they would ship to the USA for retail sale.

*EDIT* Especially if I could get the Azaroth figure for under £15 plus shipping.

I like those minis. As I said previously, I'm currently infatuated with my Privateer press minis, a few reaper minis, and my RIFTS minis which I'm assembling for a sepcial event at the open house this year.

I think they have a few of them, but only a handful of different models, compared to the 20 they had initially.

Darn straight. After playing WM for about a year, I went back to the gaming store to fill in the gaps in my LotR (GW) army and almost fell over when I realised how little my money bought by comparison (and in plastic!). Value for money and enjoyment ruled and I've abandoned the idea of purchasing anything from GW in the near future.

On the same topic of value-for money, I've only recently returned to Rifts and had to start repurchasing from the gorund up, starting with UE (I bought the signed hardcover - veeery nice).
After playing D&D and White Wolf games for the last decade, I got used to their pricing schedules. I have to say that even with the AUD doing moderately well against the USD, the products are still very good value. I can still actually buy sourcebooks for around the AUD$30 mark, something I haven't been able to do with D&D since the late 80's.
Hats off to Mr Siembieda

Not sure what the AUD exchange is, but you can't even get a decent sized D&D sourcebook for $30 USD anymore. I bought the Dragon Magic book a few weeks ago, and dropped $26 on it, after a 20% discount. And it's only 160 pages!!!

There were a few guns in the 60s that shot 'em. They're expensive, inaccurate, and boring.

If you look at your monthly bank statement and think of it in terms of how much cybernetics implants you can buy with it....
Or E-clips.
Or body armor...
Or what percentage of a robot vehicle you can make a payment on.

You're constantly assessing where you are in terms of ..."If a demon Rifted in mid-air right about there, where do I hide?"..."If a CS patrol drops in, where do I hole up and counterattack from?"

When you're on the highway you really wish that concealed hood laser cannons actually existed.
You find yourself debating whether to use the rail guns, the particle beam cannon, or the mini-missiles to deal with that $&^%$ who just cut you off.

You've ever found yourself absently writing in 'Temporal Assassin' or 'Demigod' on a resume form where it sez 'Previous Employment'

You've still going steady with that NPC your PC hooked up during the campaign...even though that game was over FIVE YEARS AGO.

Every time there's a new sci-fi series on television, your first thoughts on watching it are 'what would my 9th level Headhunter do in this situation...?'

You've ever tried to use TK, pyrokinesis, Elemental Magic, or plasma weaponry to shovel snow off your yard.

You can't remember your co-workers' names, but you know who all the NPCs are called in the RPG campaign.

Your JOB is what you do to make money, but your WORK begins when you step into the campaign and into character(or is it the other way around?)

You've tried to summon a Psi-Sword to deal with an obnoxious customer at work.

You've tried to grow a Millennium Tree in your backyard.

You've ever dressed up your dog as a DogBoy

You've tried to brew the mystic teas presented in Rifts Mystic Herbology

You consider yourself a Cigarette Juicer

You've converted every aircraft in Jane's Encyclopedia of Modern Aircraft to TW variants

You've tried to cast Cure Disease on yourself to cure your head cold.

... you're a little leery of vacationing in Africa because the Horsemen just might show up.

... you see a gargoyle on a building and keep your eye on it, just in case.

... you can't find the capital of your home state/province/country on a map, but can point out the EXACT location of Chi-Town.

You've ever tried to pay your bills with credits

You've ever felt the compulsion to hide your literacy

You've ever wondered if a police K-9 is reading your mind.

You think the motto on the dollar bill(under the centerpiece of the eye atop the pyramid) should read 'In Splugorth We Trust".

.....you refer to you mates in RL by their characters names

.....you write a note to yourself a tip-ex part of the letters out so it looks like runes

.....you accidentally ask for a plane ticket to Madhaven at the kiosk by mistake.

.....your medicine cabinet consists of only a D20 (to see if you save vs poison/disease)

.....you do exactly what you're doing now and trying to think of another reason why you're a Rifts geek (yes I mean you!)

You've ever complained about the waiting period on purchasing anti-armor weapons

You've ever plotted the defense of your hometown against zombies, vampires, Splugorth slavers, armored facists with energy weapons, giant robots, Mechanoids, or any combination(or ALL) of the aforementioned.

You've ever tried to use telekinesis or telemechanics to SHUT THAT PERSON'S DAMN CELLPHONE OFF!!!!

You might be a Rifts Geek if ...

You Geek Point tally is higher than your Social Security accumulation...

You actually keep TRACK of geek points.

You have a Geek Point Bank account..

Your Geek Points earn interest...

Trekkers, Star Warriors, and Losters recognize your vast Geek Point accumulation and are instantly jealous of it.
