Cool idea, but I think the Prometheans would be very reluctant to have phase tech the likes of phase transceivers and their corresponding gates outside of phase world. I doubt they would ever approve a contract, unless it was very lucrative (non necessarily financial) and they were in control of the gates.

We had real books not PDFS and we carried them on carts we pulled ourselves that we built by hand. We had Thaco and we were happy. If we needed dice we carved ours out of wood. Petrified wood just because we could.

anyone can more or less teleport to Phase World via Phase Transceiver. However it's a one-way transport.
These guys want a two-way portal (there are 5 of them already connected to Rifts Earth & other places like Wormwood and so on).
I'm beginning to think JMS would take advantage of an opportunity like this but keep them private for transport back to the original Tradepoint tower.
Next I have to figure out if the Prometheans who install Phase Transceivers would venture out into the 3 Gs to install them, or make everyone come to Center to get the technology.
Gotcha thanks for clarifying, yea go for it. Permenant gates within the Three G would be extremly profitable.

now, what's the cost ?
Permanent Portal, but not having a full-blown Pyramid-thingy.
I've seen Permanence spells that cost 1000 PPE, so maybe 1000 credits per PPE or 5000 ? maybe 50,000 credits per ?
Well you gotta figure a couple dozen million to build the facility, (TW stuff isn't cheap), and the cost per person or per portal? Per portal is cheaper if you open the gate to PW once a day or once a week, you could charge someone a fare like you would a passanger on a plane. Or you could do it on a person by person basis and have people in a line up in a row swipe ther credit cards and voila you at center. As for cost, id say make it 20-40% more expensive than the costs for spacefare in your given game. It makes it more expensive to travel, but the tradeoff is its instantanious, good for businesses ans stuff but not the average consumer.

Sounds like a business that would be cool to be a part of in the gaming universe!
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
"As you will it, your Grace."
