The Lost Ones is right!

You are absolutely correct on the Lost Ones from Rifts Mercenaries. I like this idea of linking up Rifts, Nightbane, Chaos Earth through Transdimensional TMNT. Carl Gleba's Megaversal Builder book is another good source to use for your campaign.

I kind of see BtS as being previous to Chaos Earth and Rifts, and sideways from Nightbane.
By sideways, I mean alternate earth, and each contains elements of the other.
The future of BtS could easily be Chaos Earth and Rifts, while the future of Nightbane earth is far less certain. It could easily not have a future.
