The spell is called Life Source. Technically, it's a legal way of doing things, though inefficient, and leaves you temporarily weakened.

You might also want to pick up Palladium Fantasy's Mount Nimro, which includes the Life Force Wizard... they don't actually use PPE at all, but cast entirely via HP.

I was just wondering if you can bio regen you can sacrifice large amounts of your life for PPE and cast non stop.

This spell just seems too good for a charcter that has bio regen like a titan, dragon, godlings and other supernatural creatures.

Am I the only one who thinks that?

ps: I currently am playing a character with bio regen and feel like I'm cheating all the time I think of doing it.

if you read more closely, it says that bio regeneration will NOT work one heal taken by life source.

Meaning they heal at the standard rate listed in the main book. which means at MOST 4 HP per DAY and 8 SDC per day. assuming they lay in bed with a doctor hovering over them.

A little off topic but what happens if the caster has Regeneration not bio-reg but the full blown regeneration...Can the caster recover?

Next question can they if the caster has a natural or super power of life draining . Can the caster recover points that way?

I don't know what regeneration is? A super power?

I'd say NO...the whole point of the person not being able to be healed, bio-regenerate, etc. other than normal healing rate was to prevent munchkin like PPE abuse.

I'm a madman without a mold or pattern. Anyway, I ment if a HU2 mage with the power of ,lets say, Ultima Regneration casts the spell will his amazing regeneration would he be able to regenerate his lost HP/SDC faster?

AH....

I would say....well...honestly, it'd be the same limitation as the negate super powers limitation.

If an alien where a healing "power" is natural for ALL members of that race, then yes, that would in fact be their natural healing rate and they'd use that.

but a normal one? no...
