I appreciate the skills and discpline the martial arts install. I myself studied years ago. Nowadays though, I prefer an orbital bombardment followed up by Cyclone insertion team.
By the way Col Anderson, I've done some digging around at HQ about that LRRP we discussed before. Looks like I dug too deep. I've got orders to report to the Atlas to head up a mission into that sector. I should be back in a month.
OCC Papers got me bogged down this month and have to get ready for finals. I'll get back around the middle of Dec.

(Honking of horns, loud screeching of brakes....)
Aries gets up and looks concernedly out the window...
Aries: "Never mind...Khytahn's okay...it's just misunderstandings and not collision physics out there."
(Sounds of somebody loudly deriding somebody else's intelligence, ancestry, and personal hygiene habits in at least five different languages while there's the occasional "WHAT?! I DON"T WANT ANY McFISH_NUGGETS!!!PISA'S ON EARTH!!!")

Seren listens very quietly to the others chattering, cocking her head just slightly as she does. She just shakes her head at the music, laughing slightly at Khytahn's response to it. "I'd never do it while they're asleep. That's for assassins. I've been in mechanized SWAT too long for that. I only go after active perpetrators. And usually it means I have someone to drag in for questioning and a little time in a jail cell, at the end." She cringes as Khyt starts shouting again like that.
She nods to Tolval, considering it. "Skills and discipline are always good, definitely. Plenty of skilled people without enough discipline, causing problems."
She glances over to the clones and rolls her eyes at the bar hopping comments. Then she blinks at the horn honking as Khytahn leaves, shaking her head and sighing. "Hope he gets to the med center before he gets somebody killed."
She smiles to Camilla, catching a waiter and ordering a couple of 32oz coffees, drinking one, and holding one in advance on a warmer for when Cammy finishes one. "Life is weird. Ever get the feeling we're caught in the nut house?"

Seren just... stares at the spectacle, sighing softly and downing her coffee in a gulp. "I'm starting to think that someone needs to go out and make sure he doesn't kill himself. I've got my Cyclone outside, so I'm guessing I might just be volunteered." She checks to make sure her CVR is attached properly, and sighs, slipping for the door. "I'll be back..."
With that, she steps out, and hops onto the Cyclone, revving the engine and heading in the direction Khytahn went.

:::Colonel Anderson along with the others watches the spectacle continue. He takes a sip as the vehicle they are watching takes out the large deck on the back of a house.::: "You know I think Seren is right. Does anyone have a vehicle I could borrow. I walked here."
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

The four(plus anybody else joining them) of them go running out. Down one end of the road, there's an obvious accident scene---jackknifed truck with its front wheels missing and nosed into a light pole...downm the other side, parked vehicles. Parked a half-block away is what looks like the illegitimate offspring of a VW Thing and a Southern Cross hoverjeep...There's somebody already there, picking at the door...

Seren glances into her rear view, at all the clown- er, Tirolians and their friends, and the incident with the jeep. She shakes her head at the 'security' system, and looks around. She heads for the slide, but rather than blindly following up and back down, she flips the mode switch on the bike, trying to get a little altitude after, to see where he went. She mutters to herself, as she looks for his escape route. "Can't be too hard to find a guy rolling along in a tire..."

The hoverjeep obliging takes off, ala 'Bladerunner', and starts off down the street, making sure not to tag anybody on the way out.

Seren keeps flying low, to avoid airspace issues. She keeps trying to follow the trail of the tire, glancing backwards at the hoverjeep cruising the roads and rolling her eyes just a little bit. She adjusts her radio some, to see if she can't tune in and talk to anyone else along the way. "Getting along all right back there?" She laughs just a little, and turns back forward, peering for sight of her quarry.
ooc: what kind of modifications, Fury? I keep imagining that Seren would have a pair of GR-112s from Defic's site, on a VR-052. But that's just me.

Seren nods a little at the messages, keeping to the air, and trying to zoom in on the destroyed areas to see if she can find the errant wheel still. She shakes her head just a little at the level of mess. "Hate to think of the cleanup when this is all over..." She tries to fly ahead a little more.
OOC: Neat. Seren should get a 152 sometime in the future, but as a reservist, she'd be probably one of the last ones to get it. I figure on her using a hand weapon more from that site, though. Something closer to home, in the Invid energy rifle, rather than the Gallant, at least when she's on police duty. Simply for having a stun setting without having to switch weapons

OOC: This particular model is based on the VR-141 from Dave Deitrich's site with one of those GR-200s on the right arm and a CADS-2 on the left arm which is used mostly as a shield. It also has souped up reactor/engine making it 50% faster in flight and Cycle modes than stock when using flower power and also has twice the fuel capacity of protoculture at the expense of one of the "saddle bags". Speed is the norm when running or using the IC engine.
