...at least you wouldn't have to worry about the dubbing not matching their lips..
But the idea of a Shocktrooper with a samurai topknot ...eeggg....
Still...can you imagine inserting the samurai response team of Clan Invid into something like 'Ninja Scroll'?
"Hah, behold my stinging cloud of death!...er...oh...you're COMPLETELY armored..."
"You are an idiot, Mushizo...this calls for explosives...oh, that's good armor..."
"Fools, you especially Zakuro...let them roast in their armor from my lightning attack...okay, they're insulated..."
"Stoic, too...they haven't said a word."
"Just staring at us with those red eyes of theirs..."
"I think it would be best if...Shijima! You coward! Running away into the shadows!"
"Yurimaru! What's that glow they're making!?"
FFFWHHHOMMMPPPHHH!!!!
Meanwhile:
"As long as a single scrap of my flesh survives, I am invincible!!"
****HEAT BEAM*****
"Yep, those Clan Invid samurai are pretty weird...don't come out much from that wierd castle of theirs down in Honshu, except to tend their farms, but when they come out, they sure are mean!"

---Meanwhile Jubei, Kagero, and Dakuan are watching the previous movie. munching popcorn and making rude comments(note that Dakuan has his own pail of popcorn).
Jubei: (seeing one of the Eight Devils getting sliced in half by a Shocktrooper's claw) "Ah man, what a pathetic stupid way to get killed! Where's the angst?! The drama? Alien samurai from outer space? Who WRITES this crap? Hey, Dakuan? Mind poisoning me again? I wanna kiss Kagero again, maybe make out on the balcony."
(Dakuan grumbles something about wierd kids and their making out all the time)

Yep...It's the new show...'Anime Swap'!
--Where anime series swap cast members or even entire heroes/bad guys for a week and see what happens...
Lisa: "Captain, Angel off the port bow!"
Captain Gloval: "Fire up the Main Gun!"
(Angel raises AT field...gets smoodged by Reflex Blast...
Meanwhile:
Gendo: "Deploy Units 00 and 01!"
(Shinji and Rei, AT-fields or not, promptly get dogpiled by several hundred Zentraedi Battlepods and Power Armors---Neither Reir nor Asuka can sing, so Minmeing them is out of the question...)

Next up....
Voltron Versus the Robotech Masters,
Southern Cross Versus the Drul!
"Form Blazing Sword!"
(scratch one Robotech Masters Mothership....okay, there goes another...)
"Gee, Princess, that was easy! (POW)..urk..."
(Bioroid sniper picks them off in their after-battle meadow romp)
"Well, snot...there goes the castle and Commander Leonard...we ain't got anything short of a barrage of reflex-nukes that can take out that 'ro-beast'."
"Yeah, but on the other hand the Drul infantry ain't making ANY progress....and REP reports they just sniped some nutcase called 'Lothar' through the head while he was posturing, so we're tit-for-tat on the command decapitation."

Cyclones coulda made all the difference on New Caprica, for one thing.
And when the Centurions boarded the Galactica itself and were shooting up the place on their way to weapons and life support.
Not so sure how well the new Super Shadows woulda fared against a hardcore Raider like Scar.
Scar would almost certainly beat Bernard, not sure about Maia though.

From the 'Max vs..." thread...
Bubblegum Crisis Switcharoo....
Knight Sabers versus Invid
and
REF versus GENOM
or
Knight Sabers versus Team Bernard
and
GENOM versus the Regis?
The Knight Sabers...Silvia Stingray is, as an augmented human, faster and smarter than Scott Bernard, and has a similar desire for revenge, but lacks Scott's leadership charisma and (passionate) rage...They may both have blue hair, but Scott's the better military mind and should be able to outmaneuver Silvia...
KS: Better initial equipment
Team Bernard: More rugged equipment, and used to fixing it with baling wire and duct tape...
The KS are cityslickers, Team Bernard used to living on scant resources in the field...Priss may be tough, but I don't see her having Rand's resourcefulness in catching her own lunch, and Nene's certainly a screamer when a snake or cockroach crawls into her sleeping bag...The KS are good in city combat...Team Bernard tends to blow up city blocks...In the country, Team Bernard will certainly be able to ambush the KS...
Priss: "YYYaaaaghhhhhhh!!!!!!!....kuso..."
Rook: "Nice pit trap, Rand."
GENOM...endless robot drones...
Regis....seemingly endless Invid drones...
Pure attrition

I allowed someone to make a fine wine from the flowers of life! It was a very interesting drink!
How about................
:::Breetai is sitting in a lab with two robed men. The two normal men are looking at a machine.:::
First man::: "You see his mitochlorian count is the highest I've ever heard of." :::He looks up at Breetai.:::
Second man::: "But master! He can't possibly become a jedi. He is way too old and way too big!" :::He also glances up at Breetai.:::
First man::: "I'm still going to take him under my tutoring in the ways of the force!"

"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
"As you will it, your Grace."

Maybe he is the president of the hair club for men! I don't think anyone will oppose him. Otherwise they might get stepped on in his climb for power!
