Battlefield Evolution Miniatures Used for Palladium
I've taken a look at these miniatures for the game Battlefield Evolution. I thought about getting some of these and using them for a Palladium Modern Military RPG that I've been writing. The game will be for personal use, but these miniatures look like they'd fit in nicely.
Has anyone else seen these?

I believe Mongoose has suspended production of miniatures for Battlefield Evolution due to quality control issues.
However, I use 1/72 scale models in my Twilight:2000 game. There is a pretty good selection of vehicles available in 1/72 scale, and prices tend to be under $15, and often $10 per kit.

I didn't know they've been suspended. I should probably pick up what I've found then before they're gone.
I've never seen those for Twilight 2000. I'll have to check it out.

Production has been suspended on the BFE miniatures. It maybe a good time to pick them up cheaper to use in the palladium games.
I'll definately pick some up then. Thanks

They were almost collector's items.
I prefer to use army men I get from the Dollar Stores. They are cheap and plenty. I found some cheap ones poorly made from China. The best part was, they were actually smaller than the normal army men you'd think of, so they matched a perfect VC/Asian/Chinese enemy perfectly, except the set I got was in tan.
There was a set at CVS I saw the other day that had supplies like oil drums, fences, jeeps and even a rocket artillery piece!!!
Speaking of dollar stores, I saw a four pack of mirco-soliders. The painting was subpar, but they were cheap. The biggest problem I had with miniatures is that it took so long to paint, that by the time you had a good unit, we'd moved on to the next battle or game. I still haven't painted by Kurita Machine Gun platoon I got...16 years ago.

Re: Battlefield Evolution Miniatures Used for Palladium
I find the GHQ minis the best IMHO for playing Recon and the Recon miniatures rules.

These are 6MM miniatures so they might not be everyone's cup of tea but I think they are great because they are easy to paint and store.

Re: Battlefield Evolution Miniatures Used for Palladium
It's an old thread, but I like it!
I have a few of the BE minis and they are pretty good. They arn't cheap, but they are decently painted and at $25 or so per squad they are in line with other 28mm figures. Actually, they are more expensive, but they are prepainted and ready to go out of the box. They also have quite a few vehicles to go with the range so Mongoose is a good place to go, especially if you just want nice figures without having to paint them yourself.
If you're looking for zombies to go with them then check Twilight Creation's "Humans" game. It have a nice collection of 28mm humans and zombies that you can use with the BE minis. Granted, the actual humans are 60 copies of the same casting... but they work.
If you want to put more effort into your gaming collection then go here:

This page will link you to tons of gaming companies who will happily hook you up with modern minis and so on.

Wargames Factory makes some pretty cool plastic zombie miniatures in 28mm scale(1/56 scale). There are 24 in the box and it retails for $17.95! if you're doing 28mm scale these minis are a great deal! Aslo, because it's Wargames Factory these minis are guaranteed to look absolutely awesome. Wargames Factory makes some of the coolest minis on the market!
