How about creating a small write up on them so that way it could be used in many peoples games. I know I'd be interested in using the company based on Carl's name.

The idea is that they're a major astro-construction firm known through out the three galaxies. They do things like divert comets, clear asteroid fields build secret bases, build orbitals that can withstand gas giant atmospheres and terraform (doing a few Paradise Federation planets, vacation spots like in Firefly's Trash ep, etc). They're like the Blue Angels or Harlem Globetrotters to the general public (eg, the name is instantly known but not necessarily the individuals, unless you're a buff). They based off the Crusher Conference (consortium ?) from the Crusher Joe OAV.

* Since you're the top architecht of the Three Galaxies, I feel it fits.

Actually the Alu is a big part of the Campaign right now. They're going on day 20 (or around there) in Hades and he has provided invaluable insight for a fee of course. He is actually turning out to be a very cool NPC and I suspect the players are going to remember him for a long time :ok:

His traveling name has already been noted as a potential contact for the future.

If you're going name something in my honor who am I to gripe? Glebix actually sounds kind of cool. Besides you can't really do a lot with Gleba anyway :lol:

I like the concept around the company. Very cool. :ok:

I'm telling ya, man you got the ideas that would make some sweet Rifter articles and even books. :ok:

it's my response to gadrin's challenge...it has that 'scifi' feel to it, but it's also a homage to Carl.

btw, Globex is sorta taken. it's had both real world and fictional use.
