Alternate media for Psychics to manifest powers
For instance a Clairvoyant who shows his answers in sculpture, a film maker who shows object read results in films, a Psychic Screamer that hears auras and magic.
Does that sound too cheesy?

Sounds like the makings for episodes of X-Files! Which I loved! I like this idea!
This world is far too small not to want to see it all, but life is far too short to allow that to happen. - Falcon, Ranger (My primary hero in PFRPG setting)
"Unhand me you slobbering son of an Orcish whore!" - Ariana Moonstone, Palladin (Another primary character of mine.)
"Bastard!" War cry of Strut, Barbarian Mercenary. (That's for you James!)

Not cheesey at all. I think Dean Koontz used something similar in his novel 'Twilight Eyes' where one of the characters could sense auras around people, but to him it was all smells. Psychics had an ozone like smell around them, monsters had this bad smell, etc.

yes it is possible to make the psi powers idiocentricly linked to the char natural talents/tendencies. In fact, if there were real psi powers that is how they would express themselves.

That's how I am trying them. I have magic being precieved in a similar fashion, though not cast as that.
I'm going to use skills as percentage chance for success.
Would it too much to have minor, major and master having skill bonuses added to a skill when used for Psychic abilities or just like normal skill check?

Nah, its more like a BTS sort of character building option then for HU... unless you are talking about one of those eccentric NPCs the heros go to for help.

The show 'Heros' is more of an emergance story then a HU so the 'Painter's' power is would follow the idiocenctraic modle of the powers.

I like cheese, but no it's not cheesey. Good idea, Rimmerdal.
How about a Clairvoyant that works in minatures. Each insight builds another part.
One that works in clay medium.

this gives me an idea for 6th sense. He makes a mini or image of the subject of the warning before and is able to remember the image and goes "hey wait, let's be careful of him." or creates a scene and sees it later as the events occour real time.
I'll work throught that.

I got the idea from the minature killer on CSI. He/she made great detailed minatures of the murder scene and left for Grissom to find. In this use, the Clairvoyant creates the miniature scene before, say, the murder happens hours to days before. Thus hopeing to prevent it or at least warn the persons involved.
How's that?

Loved that series of CSI episodes. And I think this is a good idea for this genre of psionic.
