The spell and the TW Disrupter Gun both affect only a single object, or small group of connected objects (e.g. the electrical systems in a car, a computer and its monitor, etc.). Shooting someone in the chest with the Disrupter Gun will deactivate electical systems in his armor (non-environmental armor only), but that's about it. If you want to disrupt objects being carried by another person, you have to target the objects themselves.

I would agree with all of TD's post except for this part, "(non-environmental armors only)". It's magic people, not a physical fluid which being environmental would block.
