Does anyone know if this is the fastest that any book at Palladium has ever sold off?

I'm glad I ordered my copy on Wednesday then. They were still there then, and since priority mail was only 10 cents higher than standard first class, I jumped for it. *flips through her copy now*

Actually, I might retract that earlier statement. I didn't realize that it had only been 10 days since shipping. I know that Palladium has moved more product in less time (like the launch of Rifts), but I don't know that there has been a sell-out that quickly.

Well, the printing for Robotech wasn't quite as big as the one for Rifts, was it?

If the printing was smaller, it'd by nature run out more quickly. Though running out this soon is a good indicator that they should have printed quite a few more of them, to make sure demand was met. ;)

Not sure.

What I am sure of though is that Palladium prints more copies per run than most other RPG companies - which makes 10 days (or less) impressive.

Other books don't appear to be backordered... though that might be because they're not hot tickets right now. You may be right...

For what it's worth, one of my FLGS's only got in half their order, the other got a single copy. Each told me that their distributor assured them that more were coming, but neither of the guys I talked to had heard that it was already backordered. Both said that there's been a good deal of interest in it.

Well then citizen, I'm sure your parcel from that filthy, filthy, filthy country to the south has been properly sanitized.

I'm really jsut poking fun man. I love Canada and have had great time when I have been there. To tell the truth, the Wife and I are seriously considering making the move up north.
