Hades Dimension
(Kinda aimed at Carl)
Is the Hades planet (?) in a small dimension all of its own? Could you, proper equipment allowing, take off and end up in Hades space? Are there other planets?
Just finished the book btw - awesome stuff, can't wait for Dyval!

Glad you liked the book Shaka.
To answer your question: The truth is I never considered it. The best answer I could give that's cannon is that Hades is the flip side of Palladium Fantasy.
My opinion on the matter is that Palladium is a planet in a small pocket dimension. So going on that assumption Hades probably has a moon and is itself a planet in a small demonic pocket dimension.

Sounds the like the Good Sploogie thread Taalismn started. You should check it out for a really twisted alternate universe!
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
"As you will it, your Grace."

Demonic Dimensions not neccessarily follow the
Star-planets-moons pattern of our IRL reality.
The liquid organic space/dimension from ST:Voyager
is just one possibility. Another possibility is a Dyson-sphere
like dimension - but nothing outside. As a matter of fact,
there is no outside, as such.
And so on.

But still, one of the most basic rules for survival on any planet is never to upset someone wearing black leather - This is why protesters against the wearing of animal skins by humans unaccountably fail to throw their paint over Hell's Angels.

Alternate universes and parallel universes provide us with a rich tapestry of places to adventure. Those are some interesting ideas KLM.

I watched a programme last night and it was about Stephen Hawkings and the m-theory, how they are starting to believe our universe is just not the only one but a a thin membrane in an infinite number of membranes with each possibly varying in size. Now if that isn't Rifts I don't know what is. The string theorists believe there are about 11 dimensions as well as the 3 xyz directional ones and say 4th for time.

Actually that M-Theory has been around a number of years. I've been following it for several years! I love it's implications! Makes watching Steven King's "Mist" that much more entertaining.
