Re: Mechanoids vs Kittani
Now that is a cool concept to look at the conflict which lead to the Kittani joining the Splugorth as minions. Thank you for the hint at the future of the book you are writting.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
"As you will it, your Grace."

I've got the Mechanoids Sourcebook for Rifts and if I remember correctly it mentions about the conflict
and how the Kittani have been a space-faring race for ~38,000 years.
Obviously if your book isn't a history-lesson then it doesn't mean much, so I just thought I'd ask.
If you're lacking for materials/ideas ( yeah, right, this is Carl we're speaking about) I know I wouldn't
mind seeing a few more Kittani OCCs in there, someplace and maybe a few bits & pieces of their "older tech".
Derranged cyborgs basically. Not just brains, but some kind of organic matter integrated with a mechanical body. From what I recall (I'll need to reread all the material myself) the organic mechanoid has a limited time it can survive outsides its mechanical body before it dies.

Certain ones are free thinkers as I recall. Some are more like the cylon raiders, almost instinctual and animalistic. The wasps and exterminators come to mind.

Hey Carl, Are you going into a little more depth on any possible originals of the Mechanoids?

and Phase World hooks ?
and Minion War Tie In ?
One thing: if Kevin S devised the Kittani (and I assume he did) he should be able to give you voluminous info.
Phase World...maybe.
Minion War, no. I don't want to over do the Minion War or Palladium fans will start throwing books at me. There should be plenty of info in the all the Minion War books for creative GM's to take the Minion War anywhere. At least in my opinion.
Kittani shouldn't be a problem if Kevin approves all my ideas. I still have to get them into an outline and send them in to him. Then we (me and Kevin) need to discuss the book so its what Kevin expects and blows the fans away. I'm really looking forward to working on the Mechanoids.
I'm also dying to finsih up what I started on the Elemental Planes. I may mess around with them while on break between books. At least get my ideas down and figure out how I want to present the book(s).

Re: Mechanoids vs Kittani
Mechanoids in Phase World space!?! That is going to make the Minion Wars look like a border skirish! Egads! Everyone will have unite to defeat them! Good, Evil and the neutrals are going to have to work together and even that might not be enough.

As long as those hundreds of thousands are without a mothership. Heaven help the Three Galaxies if one of those comes thru. Even if it only equiped with a few hundred thousands mechanoids. It can rebuild.

To quote one of my players Aramanthus...

I'm a GM! It's my duty to help other GMs with as many ideas as I can! You're welcome Carl!
