Even though I have a subcription, I haven't gotten it yet. Though it is expected... shipping by media mail to the west coast takes a while.

I only got to glance at it, but it seemed very NPC heavy and adventure scenario heavy at first glance. Hades material from Gleba though, so woot.

I've got it too. But I haven't had a chance to actually do more than glance at it.

I'm waiting to see if the crew sent it to me in my Grab Bag (I don't have my books come to my place for fear the manager will "misplace" them). Instead, my books go to my permanent mailing address. Thus, I don't have it yet (there's a 200+ mile difference).

I liked the new UAR. I didn't like that the reason I wanted it in the first place (the angels) was only a few pages with no R.C.C.s

I haven't been able to sit down and actually read all the articles, but I am a little sad about one thing. Normally I wouldn't care at all, but one of the illustrations that Allen and I did had to be printed smaller (I don't know the real reason, but I would guess it is to save space, because it was a full page image that had to be reduced to an 1/8 page). If it was just one of the drawings that I inked myself, it wouldn't matter at all, but Allen did such a killer job with the inks that I think people should be able to see a larger version of the image.
-- Dragon Iron Juggernaut --
Wayne Breaux did such an awesome job with the original batch of Iron Juggernauts that we were both pretty intimidated by the assignment. But Allen busted out all kinds of stuff, and he even cut up one of his old brushes to get that worn out iron steam-punk look. I wanted to get that same look that Wayne did, and Allen really shocked me when I saw the finished inks.
Anyway, about the rest of the issue, I have sit down and read it this weekend (if things do slow down a little like I'm guessing they will).

Yeah, I wished the pic was bigger in the book because it looked awesome, thanks for the larger image JW.

As much as I like new UAR's I'm not gonna buy it if there aren't any angels. I thought I could finally use angels, this is a dissappointment.
It was still a good article. But RCC's would have been cool.
A wide range of info on Angels would have been nice.
If evil is going to war, Good would be on the rise as well.

Yeah, as I said, that was my biggest complaint with it. As much as I hate to use that book, the information in "Shadows of Light" is the best that I've found for Angels.

No problem. With a little tweaking for personal games, they angels in there are really good. I like that information, I just don't like them for Nightbane.

The fact that the next game I'm going to run is going to be a Minion War campaign is going to be awesome. I'm going to allow my players to pretty much play whatever they want, but we will have to be a diverse group. I'm debating on running once a month so people can drive in if they want to, or just having it weekly with my regular group.

Re: Rifter #41 That bad?
I'm surprised no one is talking about the TW borg in this book. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I think it is a neat idea, but the long recharge time using ley lines is a big draw back.

I really like how it was done. The idea of going through the conversion process first just makes a lot of sense to me, rather than mixing the TW conversion and Borg conversion simultaneously. I was worried it would be just some excuse to make some magic slinging juggernaut that no one could stop, but I think it came out great. It really does carry on the Techno Wizard feel.

I'm hoping to get mine Wednesday this week! My FLGS messed up and didn't put an order in last week because of change in ownership! This week it should be here! I'm of course talking about 42.
