By they way,

those who haven't seen Hannah in a while will notice a few changes. Most obvious is she's continued her growth from girl-child into young woman, but along with that she seems like she's a little stronger and a little tougher than she was when she was origionally brought from the compound.

The other big outward change is that she's ditched the Ammish fashions for a fairly conservative, yet mainstream style. Depending on the weather in Maine this weekend she'll mot likely be wearing jeans or a knee length skirt.

In terms of attitude, she is still happy and bubbly most of the time, but she has some very serious and sombre momments as well. Her speech patterns have changed as well, dropping most of the country girl accent and euphamisms she used to have.

She won't have one of her "episodes" during the BBQ and if anyone asks,s he hasn't had one since she got brought back from the dreamstream.

Those attuned to such things will notice she is brimming with PPE, far more than a girl her age should have, almost as much as some of the spell casters.

Jake, out of paranoia comes to the party with some toys. Same principle as a condom. Rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

Well as for an actual schedule....

Saturday Morning - Pancake breakfast at the Elks club. Tour of The Annex, or what is left of it.

Saturday - Tour of the town and the sites...everyone can explore. Lunch at the diner.

Saturday Night - Bonfire on the beach, ghost stories, "war stories", and general discussions.

Sunday Morning - Breakfast buffet at Ben's cabin.

Sunday - More exploration of the town and general R&R. Friendly games of competition and skill all day.

Sunday Night - Early BBQ at Ben's and "Werewolf Hunt". Winner will be announced on Monday night at BBQ.

Monday Morning - Breakfast Buffet at The Brick. Kelly provides free food and drink all day. The local Memorial Day parade starts at 10 and goes until noon.

Noon - Town Pinic and Memorial Day commencment speech by Doc Coltraine.

Monday Afternoon - Local festivities, beer drinking contest, hot dog eating contest, skeet shoot contest, and 50/50 raffle.

Monday Evening - The main BBQ at Ben's, closing celebration party at Ben's, more fun and games, the winner of last night's "Werewolf Hunt" is addressed and award is given. {Second place gets a case of Black Rabbit Stock Ale, a cooler of steaks, and a date with Kelly for being a good sport.

Closing toast is given at 9:00 PM by any one who wants to give one.....followed by Ben's retirement toast and his announcement that he is leaving Maine and Cypress Cove, and moving to Wyoming with Molly & Duke. Looks over to Ellie and Hannah, lifts his glass of bourbon, steps down, and walks off.

That ends my input as to events...it is now up to everyone else.

Yes, this scene I would like Jake/Razor to bear witness to. (curiosity killed the cat on that one).

Swimming.. maybe. Though monday one, if they watched the cove would see a figure skimming over the water at around fifty miles per hour. A closer glance, reveals it to be him with an amulet around his neck faintly glowing.

After watching the scene from a nearby tree, the psychic watches for a few moments in silence, arms crossed, legs crossed at the ankles, long shoulder length hair hanging around his face some. A rarity for he rarely wears it down, instead usually pulled back in a pony tail. Knowing there's no business for him to get involved, despite having considered many of the folks present to be friends of his something that very few he would call. Instead, he turns away slowly, his own good mood killed for he cannot help but feel the empathy with his friends, comrades. Somewhere beneath the hardened exterior, those that do make it to those he considers friends matter, possibly more than life itself. Seeing such a thing, and feeling it, only kills his own good mood, and serves to remind of his own failures, and things he has wanted over time.

Sunset finds him skipping rocks across the Cove on the suprisingly calm waters. As he does, it is apparent that the stones he sends winging over the water are not skipping normally as they should, and every once in a while, a stone is sent over the water but thrown without hand, but mind.

Is that empathy psychic in nature? Wie has Mind Block Auto Defense, which would block it, I believe. (Which might make him feel worse, as it may be like a door unintentionally slamming in his face. :()

The thing about Auto Defense is that it assumes that a psionic technique has to be invasive, such as Hypnotic Suggestion. The thing is, Sensitive abilities are more akin to listening, and tuning into the proper frequencies, rather than like trying to jack into someone mind to mind. Everyone gives off energy, and that energy resonates quite strongly to sensitives. On top of that, I do not believe that Auto-Defense blanks the aura, which Raz's aura sight is constantly active. It became a natural ability to him after having opened his Third Eye. Granted sometimes it likes to close partially sometimes, but with the things that they have to deal with, having the doorway open flat out all the time is not always a good thing.

Then there's having nearly a Masters in Psychology? I dunno. He could be guessing. I only know how he feels in relation to what he experiences, on this one. I need to remake his character sheet sometime but that'd be like a weekend project, not to mention I don't have all the material I'd need. :P

And if there is a kareoke machine... good luck getting Jake up there. He's actually a pretty good singer, like real good but ... well, there's just no way in hell people are easily getting him on stage. :o :?

To answer a question - Yes there is a karioke machine at The Brick....have fun.. :D Kelly sings some country favorites and Carter's G/f Alyda recites some poetry also.

Once announcement was made on Saturaday morning and made once again Sunday morning for those who missed it the first time by Ben & Carter....."Stay away from the mansion in the woods out by the old Silent Rest Cemetery...its evil! Dont go near it, do not enter the cemetery and DO NOT go in that house after sunset. You will not be seen again. Thank you. "

I don't think something passive, like See Aura or Empathy would trigger the mind block auto defence to go into effect . . . which is a good thing because Wie relies on her psychic abilities to help compensaate for a lack of sigh, and if those suddenly are shut down by a mind block . . .

Oh forgot to mention, anybody that wants to join Raz/Jake in a morning and or evening workout any of the days that he is there, then he would be more than happy to help, as well as sharing tips and some experiences of his own. A lot of that goes without saying.

And for a bit of flavorful entertainment, Razor will bring along his guitar, and fire poi. For the bonfire on the beach, he'll do probably a ten minute performance of firespinning, which should be a pretty good show, and of course, no good time at the beach is complete without music of some kind, so he'll have his acoustic six-string if anybody else cares to have some fun with that.

ALrighty...

As GS is talking to Ben...Ben remembers the old calvalry sabre from WWI that he promised him and gives that to GS.

As for Ben, not much is seen of your host. Carter seems to be doing most of the talking. Ben however is seen spending alot of time in his cabin or off alone. The night of the bonfire he can be seen walking the bluffs.

On Sunday morning he takes some "quality time"and does some practice shooting down at the range. On Monday he misses the skeet shoot {an event he's won locally for the past four years}.

He also has been drinking more heavily since his "discusion with Ellie".

The winner of conest...hum....who actually particpated other than GS?

Ok that scene plays out well I guess.

What? Ben isn't taking his breakup with Wei well....WAIT...they weren't dating...how could they be breaking up...... :?

Anyway...since no one else was interested in the werewolf hunt, GS is the winner by default as is awarded the prize on Monday night.

Oh...and as of the creepy old mansion out by the cemetery...any psychic worth their merit would sense the EVIL  radiating from the place...and that is during the day. If anyone entered past the iron gate....they would sense it even more....and then...feel as though something was drawing them closer to the house....the front door would creak open in the wind....

BUT DO NOT GO IN!!! RUN AWAY!!! The house will EAT YOU!!!

You're right about that one. It's a bit different pain. My mother died when I was three, by being shot. I still wasn't old enough to remember her, other than maybe her face, a few impressions... that day... but it was a long time before I remembered that. Poor kids.

I did forget something, for the BBQ.

Raz actually is a pretty good singer, sitting at like 75%, talented amateur, though he's more like professional in it, from his younger years in church, and in choir in middle school then other music classes in high-school. Doesn't like to admit he can sing, but sometimes it comes out. He's also a musician too. PMI: Trumpet 65%, Guitar 65%, Percussion 70%

For instance, the night, fire at the beach he actually brought his six-string acoustic guitar, just to play around with while hanging out. Actually decided to play one of his more favorite songs, even though it's not his style of music. "Whiskey Lullabye" as written and all by Brad Praisley, and if any of the girls want to take the girl's part, he'd have played for that too. That's one of those songs that his talent really comes out, besides just playing and singing both, he can capture the feel just perfect.

:D
