A good game to visual phase world
Play Mass Effect, just got it for the PC and it's amazing. If I ever visualised a decent Phase World adventure or setting, this is how I would see it.
"Arrogance is a poor man's confidence"
"Only when I lose myself with someone else, that I find I myself"
"You eat to live, not live to eat!"

Re: A good game to visual phase world
Thank you for the heads up! I just have to wait until I can afford a new game system. I think it's going to be awhile before I can. The commercials look interesting.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
"As you will it, your Grace."

Yeah, I'd like to hear how it plays. And how it fits within the description of Phase World. I"d like to hear that!

Sounds pretty cool! Interesting ideas about the setting. I'm sure it is quite capable of producing inspiration!

Can't much to what has already been said except to echo 100%. Mass Effect is easily one of the best games I've played. The visuals, the depth, the storyline, all of it is incredible.
It takes a little bit for it to get going, but once it does, it's HARD to walk away from it!
And yes, I immediately thought of Phase World while I was playing it.

Re: A good game to visual phase world
I've got to echo first that this is a cool game. I got to play my friend's copy last weekend. While I see the parallel to Knights of the Old Republic's interaction system, I'd say this is what the meant for Knights of the Old Republic, rather than the other way around.
The scope of the main city/station is about right for Center...well part of Center anyway I'd say it would cover about the top 4 to 6 so levels of Center. The visuals in the game are breath-taking. I like the game play, it tends to be about as interactive as I'd like, without overdoing it.
It has all the hallmarks of a good Computer Action/RPG game, hidden/side quests, lots of combat and problem solving, and lap dances! Okay, so its about as revealing as your average PG-13 [or better] rated movie, but still; I'd heard it caught some controversy with a realtionship or some scene or something, but I haven't actually looked into it much.
If you've got a 360, then you're golden, get the game, its worth the money. If you're planning on getting one, then get the game when you do. If you're in neither category (yet!) then find someone who will let you play their copy

It sounds even more interesting. The lap dance did it for me. I need to find someone who has a copy to let me try it out.
