Techno-Wizard devices and Anti-Magic Cloud

Unread post by barna10 »

Let's say that a Techno-Wizard casts Anti-Magic Cloud.

Since your own magic isn't effected, can we assume his devices still function?

What if it's a device created by another TW, but this TW is using it?

What if he hands one of his devices to someone else?

Does it matter who's ppe is fueling the device or who created it?

The cloud would affect everything, including the TW item if it was brought into the cloud.

No, doesn't matter who created it nor who's PPE is in it,nor who actually used it. Because it is 2nd hand magic, not an actual spell/incantation.

Personally, I think up to the GM. Though If I was GMing I would agree with drewkitty.

maybe combining AMC with one of the TW water guns. It only effects those who are hit by the water. Or the area above where the water hits.

when it comes down to it, making of TW stuff all depends on GM desecration on what he will allow or not. But its better to have some fast talking ready before hand to swing that desecration your way.
