Excellent descriptor of the Sploogie area in center. Is this going to be part of your campaign?
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

Yep...and I'm sure that some folks go in that sector on a dare(drunken or otherwise)
Think of it as a Darwin Award test....

And the Turning of a Page"

I personally think it's a little too hostile. Human and other non-powered humanoids would definitely be at a disadvantage in the Splugorth sector, but the Splugorth are ultimately there to make a buck, not be eeeviiiil. Some humans & similar species probably have to go into the sector to do business, ones without personal power, but backed by people/corporations who wouldn't take their minion getting enslaved lightly - I don't necessarily mean other people's slaves, you've got that covered, but employees, representatives, etc.
- If I never hear real world military buffs complaining about Rifts weapons technology again it'll be too soon
- Rifts isn't Warhammer 40K. Try to remember that.
- In vino veritas, and I am hammered!

If you've got legit business you make SURE you got readily visible signs like corporate skin chips or tattoos telling any Minion that you have safe passage...Just don't accept a Splugorth's invitation to go offworld with them unless your boss knows where you are, are going, and has a plan if you don't check in as scheduled...

I can definately see that section of center as being a dangerous place to travel for the unwarry. But I do see those who are attached to power groups making a safe trip in and out of the area.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

With the right group of people and gear that is easy enough to do. :D

Whenever you are dealing with that level you'd almost have to have at least a little munchy group to deal with them.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
