How do you think a Genius/Natural from BTS2 would be modified when tossed into a high PPE setting?
Conversion Book 1 has a conversion, but it is a bit outdated. It gives them more PPE. Do you think they should be able to spend this PPE to get more bonuses?
I'm thinking of giving them 1D4 or 1D6 more PPE per level that they can use to purchase new Genius/Natural powers and letting them role for random psionics, does that seem too powerful?

in the old BTS a genius or natural got extra skills if born on rifts earth. for BTS 2, i agree with MGilliam. give the player some extra PPE to by abilities.

I think that a Genius might be able to emulate certain abilities because of his focus... Telemechanics for a electrical/mechanical genius, Supernatural Strength for a physical adept.

I didn't have my book out when I wrote that; didn't realize that they could buy supernatural strength.
As for giving them traditional psychic abilities, I was more thinking along the lines of them having its equivalent... they can use Telemechanics because they are so in tune with machines.

Re: Genius/Natural in Chaos Earth or Rifts
I can understand not allowing them to have psychic abilities in a BTS-2 game. The scenario I'm thinking of is a Genius/Natural that lives through the Apocalypse and is now in a Chaos Earth setting.
Obviously, any "non-psionic" character in this setting gets the chance to develop psionics. Just check out character creation. Would you allow someone playing a Para-Psychologist the chance to have psionics (I would think yes since there is that option in BTS-2 as well), what about an Ordinary Person O.C.C.? A Genius/Natural is clearly a "non-psionic" individual, it says so under the limitations section of the class.
What about a D-Shifter (a mega-hero if ever there was one)? They can have psionic abilities just like everyone else in Chaos Earth. Giving a Genius/Natural psionic powers is not going to even come close to the power level of a D-shifter (with or without psionics).
