That's because they find the term "midget" to be offensive.

You mean like Dwarves, Gnomes, In'Valians, and the like?

Yeah. I agree. In the Phase World setting almost every race is seven feet tall and has either an impossibly thin build and/or superhuman attributes.

It stems from the fact that gamers (both the players and the writers) aren't always happy with the way they look in real life, and so when they escape intot he fantasy of the game, they want to play (or write about) tall, pysically fit, agile, handsome characters.

Until our society gets over its height stigma, it isn't likely to change either.

If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.

You could always add some little RCCs to the RCC thread here in the Dimensional forum. :D
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

I always assumed it was because the aliens were from a low gravity world so they evolved skeletons that dispersed weight over a greater height...

That and none of the artists/creators wanted to reinvent the ewok.

yes I want my charecters to have to go to homecoming with there ears taped up becasue there ears got so cauliflowered they had to be lanced becasue of picking up OCC skill wrestling

no escapism what so ever

actaully I am a big fan of the power leech. Those are awesome midjets. I alos am fond of Bubble Makers from Pscyscape but they are all cyberknight of course and sound as much like Yolda as my poor impreesion skills allow
I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

There is nothing wrong with creating some new RCCs. Try you hand at it. And post them over on the RCC thread here.

Faerie Folk. Faerie 'Bots....small, dangerous....
Also Land of the Damned for the PFRPG introduces the Rabbler and Kokossan, both short and suitably nasty...
