Its a reference to the MTV show "pimp my ride" where the rapper xhibit makes cars rediculously awesome or ridiculously ridiculous, depending on your perspective.
I'm assuming that Pimp my skill monkey has to do with skill based characters like rogue scholars and operators being "pimped out" to be completely awesome.
