Some people add stuff from Nightbane. If you do this, you may want to tone them down a little.

Re: Just got BTS2
The Halloween editions of The Rifter usually have a good selection of BTS2 nasties or usable material. The latest is just about to go to the printer, actually.
You picked the right time to buy BTS2, the long anticipated sourcebooks should be out this year, depending on how you interpret the blurb for the Xmas Grab Bags:
I'm hopeful for a 2009 release myself.

Re: Just got BTS2
I do happen to know all the new BTS2 material thats been released in the Rifter (I dont toot my own horn often, but a lot of these are my submissions so I hope you all enjoy using them and look forward to my future creations).
BTS2 material are as follows;
-Rifter 32: On page 14 there is an adventure scenario titled "The Squatter" that I submitted to compliment "The Gormaglut", a creature Kevin wrote. This was a join effort as a snealk preview to the upcoming "Tomb Grotesque" sourcebook and the first "ongoing" adventure on the Lazlosociety.org website. (fond memories with the society crew on this one).
-Rifter 34: A creature I submitted called "The Skin Theif"
-Rifter 36: A package deal on this one, The first is a full adventure called "The Dark Brotherhood", my submission titled "The Hoarse Whisperer" (and probrably my personal favorite creation) and the "Nain Rouge, The Red Dwarf".
-The Rifter 39: The swimsuit issue included two hotties for BTS2- The La Llorna and La Mort Venus.
-Rifter 40- a creature called "The Devil Muse". I didnt submit this one, but I wish I had as its a really cool monster
-My hiatus from submitting BTS2 material ends with the upcoming Rifter #44. Ive submitted two creatures and last time I talked to Wayne, at least one of them will be showing up in #44, the other appearing in #45. I have more in near completion status (being play tested now in fact) that I will submit soon along with my first attempts at two sourcebooks in the works.
Wish me luck eh?

Perhaps Kevin could poach some of your upcoming nasties to pad out Tome Grotesque?

Do your "Nasties" include the new Discorporation Rules?

Oh yes... As a big fan and an exclusive player/gm of BTS, I ALWAYS make my creations under BTS rules/notes and include discorporation, vulnerabilites, threat levels and so on.
I try to make every creature's discorporation unique and styled to that creature. For example, in Rifter #34 "The Skin Thief" is also called "The Dust Demon" and anchors itself to the plane of existance through common dust particles. When it dies, it discorporated into a think layer of dust.

Its never to late to say thank you amigo
Speaking of the D.M., I just unleashed it on my Sunday gamers today... they've found two of the three peices of Death Art, one was destroyed, they are heading to where they think the third one is, but while they are off doing that peice #2 (the one they KNEW was in a safe place) is going to be moved! Exciting times my friend

timmah wrote:Okay, so I just picked up BTS2, I was wondering which other books might have some good stuff I can add to BTS2. (Mainly monsters as the book doesn't seem to have a whole lot), Hopefully someone knows possibly which Rifters have good adventures and/or monsters to add to my games, or which sourcebooks or other Palladium games could go well with BTS2.
One of my projects, for which I have absolutely no time, is to go through other Palladium Books and select creatures and villians which fit the feel of BTS2. One day, I hope to post this list. However, given the amount of free time that my job leaves me, I'm not hopefull for the near future. Maybe I'll beat Tome Grotesque out, though.

I was planning to getting around to something like this myself, but it would have to wait till I hit my next writers block as I've been on a roll as of late (well in my opinion anyway )
I can say most things from the Night Bane books work in a pinch ( Ive used them several times in a pinch and theyve worked well).

Right...They should, but I would like to try to look for things outside Nightbane first and foremost.
