The Gifted One from the Mystic Russia WB. I ended up with more exp than anyone else by playing in character and for putting my life on the line saving not only my party members, but NPC's and NPC villians.

Overall, probably Crazy. But not the ha ha giggles sort of crazy. The "Oh look, people for dinner, and we have farva beans.... do come in." kinda crazy.

As the books came along I rather liked the paratrooper class. Not so much for the paratroop type but it was finally a class that looked 'special forces' to me.

Also fond of the Cyberknights, and Free Quebec stuff.

I also like Dbees very much and will play them even if they only get RCC stuff.

When playing a human, I enjoy the Techno Wizard.

When playing an SDC D-Bee race, I like wilderness types.

When playing an MDC D-Bee, I really like T-Men like the Undead Slayer or Hatchling Chiang-Ku.

If given my choice of anything to play, I would probably choose a Human Maxi Man.

Lord Magus - Other spellcasters use magic, this one becomes one with magic.

I love Glitter Boys. I don't know why. There's something about Boom Guns that just says "Ohh, yeah!"

Why?
A) Awesome Skills!!!!
B) Cyber/Bionics!!!
C) O.C.C. Bonuses(HF saves increase with level)!!
D) Very Good starting gear/weapons!
E) Go anywere/Kill anything kind of PC!

2) Mind Melter
Why?
A) Super-Psionic Powers!!!
B) Self-sufficient character(If the right Skills/Powers are chosen).
C) Does great things for a Party, like Healing wounded folks, Sensitive Powers to forwarn of danger, or even solve a mystery!

3) Ley Line Walker (R:UE version is best)
Why?
A) Magic Spells!!
B) Ley Line Powers, Very useful on Rifts Earth!
C) Potentially Self-sufficient character(If the right Skills/Spells are chosen).
D) Decent Skills.

My favorite classes are the ones that don't die in the first combat...

But honestly? I've never had one. I tend to create characters after I figure out what everyone else is playing and then pick something that will round out the ground.

Though...I do have some soft spots for the Kuznya and the Adarok...

The slayer from Rifts Russia, because nothing beats kicking some ass and then going to the closest town for a nice bowl of Porsche.

The Zapper since it's main focus is telekinesis and electricity, which can be fun.

The Robot Pilot O.C.C. Ever since I got my copy of Chaos Earth I've been in love with the Bull Dog and constantly beg my GM to let me pilot one.

The Leyline walker is my fourth favorite, and the last one in my top five is the Shifter, because playing with demons is fun (especially nightwinds).

Surviving in Rifts as an adventurer can be interesting. Naturally the occupation of mercenary and adventurer usually includes looking for trouble, but another part is looking for trouble that wont completely kick the crap out of the characters.

When I start most of my games off, I almost always go after Xiticix first, as they are somewhat low powered mdc monsters and as you get more experience you just go a little deeper into the hive land. Plus the bounties on Xiticix heads is pretty good, especially if the characters fighting the xiticix are somewhat self sufficient like leyline walkers or psychics.

I played a few games with all vagabonds that was interesting.

Vagabonds rock, bro! They're my favourite class.

I made a minor-psionic Vagabond who was a short order cook in a greasy spoon diner in the Pecos. His psionic powers: "Telekinesis" and "Impervious to Fire", a necessity when working in any shady kitchen.

But honestly, what's better than playing just a regular dude trying to survive against all odds?

-Achilles Neo-Human best race in the entire game, but I'm a Jedi fan so I'm impartial.
-Monster Hunter I just love the idea of turning into a monsters and going into their ranks to spy on them.
-Shifter controlling demons now that's fun!
-Mystic Knights not as friendly as the TV show!
-Cyber Knights after the update they sure got interesting.
-Master Bloodrider good powers and it's comes with really entraining companion.
-Mega Juicer is your going to be one go mega!
-Dreadguards & Outrider are great, but the GM should urge the player pick upgrades less for combat and more for storytelling and versatility.
-Holy Terror comes in handy sometimes even with their drawbacks.

Of the mundane classes I really like the Paratrooper, Glitter Boy Pilot, Gunslinger and the Techologist from Australia is my kind of mechanic.
