I feel the same anxiety...but am willing to supress it til after the Invid and Big Honking Book of Ships come out.....I am willing to give them a chance....anyway...any adventure books would probably be pre-series (between Macross and SC) or post-series (from crash of the Master's Mothership to Invid Invasion). From what I understand, the 2nd war lasted roughly 1 year or so....not much time to fool around with in there.
I know it is a little extreme to advocate the death penalty for stupidity...but can't we just remove all the warning labels and let nature take it's course???

I think Southern Cross will likely appear along side material from the other sagas in adventure modules, and I really can't think of one I have from 1st Ed. that did not atleast mention/cover a Southern Cross angle:
-Ghost Ship (reprinted ASC material)
-Zentraedi Breakout (ASC forces and assignments in SA)
-New World Order (ASC base)
-Strike Force (setting adjustment, but they also did that for NG and Sent)
-Return of the Masters 2nd Ed. (Masters, Zentraedi, bioroids, ASC mecha prototypes)

Those are the four best Robotech books, and some of the best sourcebooks by any RPG company. RT doesn't get nearly as much love as it deserves from the masses.

They are the best source books because you can set them in any of the three settings. The first three can easily occur between the time the Expeditionary Force left Earth and the arrival of the Masters. The last book (Return of the Masters) can occur ANYTIME during the Invid occupation.

Hopefully, with PB giving the 'Royal Treatment' to SC this time around, and once the basic trilogy is covered, HG will loosen the reins a bit and feel confident enough to let PB start expanding on the franchise...

I'm still praying for Rifter material. That would just rock so much.

I'm happy with any books in any era at this point. I only have the new magna sized Shadow book, but so far, so good.
