POH and Wolverine

Unread post by Lord_Dalgard »

Chello!

OK, the release date of the Wolverine movie (X-Men) was moved up to 05-01 instead of 05-08. That means midnight showings on 4-30. Do we want to try to put together a group to go see it after VIP night? :)

Spider man 3 is how I met Jason Richards and other Palladium alumni, I'd love for such a trip.

Wow, talk about the 1-2 punch of disappointment.

I think a midnight showing would be a little tough for me (old man) since I'll be getting very little sleep on that Thursday (I'll be taking a red eye in, and I don't see myself getting a nice nap in before the event). So I'll probably just hang out at the Palladium warehouse hanging out with those that don't want to watch it, until they kick us out of course.

..That sounds like fun; we usually just hang out in the hotel lobby watching all the attendees arrive and check in. Last time I ended up sitting there until 5:30 AM chatting with Oberle, Bellairre and Lonnie. Not sure I'd have the energy to go to a movie after that day; I'm four years older now than I was two years ago.

I went five days on six hours of sleep that weekend; the end result was THIS!

Excellent....Emagine Canton it is. I just checked the website; tickets sales stop at 4-26. Check back Monday or Tuesday; I manage a theater myself and that's when new bookings go up generally. I'll pick up a ticket or Kev in case we can drag him. Hmmm...Mr. Comic Book himsel....don't think that'll be a problem. Or, at the least, an extra ticket for someone else.

That's funny that I get first name treatment while others don't. :D

Now that you mention this, I remember it. But I didn't remember anything about it until seeing this post.

Dressing up like Chun-Li and kicking Ninja Bunny's ***?

Chello!

OK, the tickets are FINALLY up for sale. I've bought tickets for Kev + a guest, if he wants to come. (Mr. Comic Book himself? lol)

It's the Canton theater and it's only 1.4 miles (per Google maps) from Palladium. Show time at 12.01.

Here's the link to the correct showing:

http://www.emagine-entertainment.com/visSelectTickets.aspx?cinemacode=1002&txtSessionId=150081

Hope we can get a good showing together for this one!
