Re: How do you set up a Necromancers in BtS?
I Need to use a Nercomancer in my game so,I seting up one my self.
The BtS,s earth is lower in Magic then Palladium fantasy,so I think they will cut out the Necromancers special abilities like Union with the Dead and Augmentation, they will keep Animate and control dead.
What do you think?
What Nercomancy spells do you think are too powerfull for BtS,s earth?

Re: How do you set up a Necromancers in BtS?
I'd say they'll set up something that is very much like what you have described.
I would make the Necromancer more of a diviner and a dealer in curses then anything else in BtS. This would mean that there won't be any PC Necromancers running around raising the dead and fighting the supernatural with an army of the undead.
NPC Necromancers could have found the spell that lets them do this, however, which would allow for the PCs struggling with zombies, wights, and wraiths.
I just like how BtS is more about the horror of facing the powerfully supernatural when you are part of the prey.

"The impossibility of the world lies in the fact that it has no equivalent anywhere;it cannot be exchanged for anything. The uncertainty of thought lies in the fact that it cannot be exchanged either for truth or for reality. Is it thought which tips the world over into uncertainty, or the other way around? This in itself is part of the uncertainty." - J. Baudrillard

Re: How do you set up a Necromancers in BtS?
The BtS necromancer will probably be another variation of a summoner. What I would like to see is one or two major spellcasting classes with specializations available as sub-class packages like the M.O.S. system in the old Robotech game. If I come up with anything clever, I'll write another post.
