Thank you!

Unread post by mumah »

I just wanted to start off by saying thank you, to all the great Palladium fans, supporters, freelancers, and staff for throwing a terrific Open House this year. In particular I want to thank everyone that came and talked with us poor freelancers, especially those of you buying prints and custom artwork. Kevin was as gracious host as ever, and all the freelancers were a blast to hang around with. I had a great time, and I'm touched every whenever someone comes up and tells me how much they like my artwork. It still weirds me out a bit when someone asks for an autograph.

I couldn't have asked for a better group to be included with. The Mannings are hysterical, as are Dudley and the Diva Nick Bradshaw. Amy Ashbaugh put us all to shame by actually having real artistry, not to mention merchandise. Apollo kills me by just being a goofy, terrifically nice guy. And everyone email Chuck Walton, and tell him he needs to put together a book of his own work. The man is a phenom.

I had a great time, and next year I'll even remember my power cord!!

Yeah man our table gets less love, because everyone is too busy gaming. It's almost like that's why they're there. :badbad:

It was a lot of fun hanging out and chatting with fans, supporters, freelancers and imaginary friends alike. BTW, Allen and I had to develop our goofy personality because we're so slow when it comes to drawing we needed it to diffuse any anger and impatience. Either that, or we used to have head-butting contests as a kid...I don't remember.

If Chuck released an art book, not only would it do well, many people would rip their own eyes out, because they would be done seeing enough "awesome" for one lifetime. I would definitely buy it. Hopefully he and Slappy get that Splicers book to Kevin so Palladium can throw it in the queue.

Agreed. It didn't occur to me until I was on the way home that i was the only GM running Splicers games. I hape that everyone had a good time. Hanging out with eeryone is a blast, and getting to debut some of Slappys stuff and seeing Chucks art for it was unreal. The face that Chuck already has cover art done for it really makes me happy.
