BtS Victim Games
I was just wondering how others have made use of the Victim games since the rules are available again (PDF).
There used to be an IRC Palladium Books chat channel that I was active on. Every so often we get in the mood for a game. Someone would volunteer to GM a Victim game. The players would pick a setting and the GM would make up the game on the spot. It took some fast thinking from the GM but made for some really fun games. One of the hard parts you had to play fast with the rules since there was no time to make stats for your NPC. I have done this also for table top games and made for a good impromptu game.

Re: BtS Victim Games
I do a few victim campaigns a year (especially good at cons). I LOVE gm'ing and playing them, but you cant do it ALL the time as it gets old in a hurry.
In fact I'm submitting two Victim specific adventures for the October edition of the Rifter, as both are Halloween related (fans of my BTS forum posts in the past will recall one of my stories). I talked to Wayne and got his blessing on them at the open house.
Point being, yes... I LOVE victim games

Re: BtS Victim Games
BTW, once my first BTS sourcebook is finished (parapsychology/Ghost hunting/ Ghost story themed), my next source book will be an expanded write up of the victims O.C.C.
Althought if this first one makes me any crazier, I may shelve it awhile and write the victims one first .

"Robyn Stott" and "The Raven" were both in the fun IRC games group.

Re: BtS Victim Games
I ran a victims game this weekend, and a quick bit of advice to GM's in the future;
In the event of your game becoming a blood bath, make sure you have plenty of new characters on hand. Even in a summer camp ground horror setting I didnt plan ahead and ran out of councelors and staff pretty quickly in this game and had to stop the game to make new peeps with the playa's.

Re: BtS Victim Games
my next game will be inspired by the movie "Drag me to Hell" where the players become cursed and spend the night running from evil while trying to figure out a way to beat the curse.
If you BTS lovers or fans of the Evil Dead movies aint seen it yet, stop reading this and see it already! Its a fun and frightening flick!
