There'll always be a special place in my heart for Freddie Williams. He put me in the Heroes of the Megaverse when I hired him to draw it for Kev, and I was a very early fan of his before he hit the big time. I also love John Zeleznik, Ramon Perez, Scott Johnson, the Manning brothers...hell, I have a really hard time in picking one.

Post, with Perez a close second. When Long made the effort he was one of the best (especially on robots and other hardware stuff), but when he couldn't be bothered making an effort it really showed.
Kevin Long IS Rifts Artwise. Era 1990-1995 Despite so many of his pictures being based on Anime Mecha it was hard to miss.
Vince Martin is Modern CS, Artiwise. Era 1994-1999ish I love most of his artwork alot. Clean and very cool.
Wayne Beuax is Heroes Unlimited / Aliens Unlimited Artwise. Love his Rototech, Raithenors, and Cyborg Artwork for rifts. Love his Tech Art.
Ramon Perez is the FEDERATION of MAGIC Artwise. I Dislike his Tech art, but I love his Magic, Psionic, Native American artwork alot. He is better at doing Leather Armors than high tech armors.
KS Himself is PALLADIUM FANTASY, nuff said. Love his Palladium Fantasy artworks.

You might as well ask which books do NOT have the work of Perez. The best example is Machinations of Doom. It's all Perez art, and it's beautiful. New West also has a lot of his stuff.

Comment: Lazlo and its supporters talk of Dbee rights. Can you even comprehend the plight of the untold billions of humans evicted from thier homes since their coming? What of their rights?
I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

I agree. Bradshaw's art will make me HATE a book. The Madhaven book was full of his crap..
Rat Bastard was kidding. Just taking a jab at Bradshaw. But then again, I can see how you might not like his stylized art. To each their own.

Ramon Perez style is what I think of when I picture Rifts. Bradshaw's work in my opinion is very creepy & interesting but I find it to be a bad fit for Rifts.
I will be 125 living in Rio de Janeiro when the Great Cataclysm comes, I will not survive long but I will be cloned threw the Achilles project and my clones will be Achilles Neo-Humans that will start a new Jedi order in Psyscape. I have to say Long and the guy who whos name starts with Z I cant spell it. I loved thier art. The stuff I hate is pretty much anything drawn by Kevin. While he draws better than me I just can't get into it
Apollo Okamura, Zeleznik (sp?), Perez and Kevin Long all epitomize Rifts for me. Wayne Breaux's work is a perfect fit for HU2 and I love it there. If I had to pick one, it would be Perez. Since the Lord Magus is my fave OCC and he drew it...
I must agree with several others - Bradshaw is my least favourite "major" artist. The Madhaven mutants were just not enjoyable to see and really ruined my view of the setting. They are a slightly better fit in the Minion War books, but almost always get an "eye roll" and a quick page flip.

Can't say I'm familiar with Bradshaw's stuff, but then I'm a bit behind when it comes to keeping up with Palladium's stuff these days. Which means that since I'm oldschool, my least favourite regular is still Wayne Breaux. I was never much of a fan of Scott Johnson either, but his stuff didn't bug me as consistently.
Bradshaw's stuff is the murky, baroque, non-proportional art that would be more suitable in another iteration of Scary Stories than it would in Rifts. Leafing through Madhaven, the only art of his I like is the Giant Ruin Worm. His work is just too gonzo in a direction not aesthetically pleasing imo.
Ramon Perez and Freddie Williams III are the artists to beat I think.

I am not an artist at all, and so sound very unsophisticated when I comment on it, but al I can think of when I see Bradshaw's stuff is "too liny"... if that makes any sense. But your definitions of what his wrong with his stuff fits too
Gold: Long - it has to be. Silver: Mike Majestic - Love his work in Splicers and Fleets. Bronze: Breaux - especially his CWC work.
Horror
Gold: Bradshaw - zombies/mutants, it all tickles my pickle. Silver: Post - everything he does just looks so sinister. Bronze: Mumah - loving Mumah's zombie scenes
Creatures
Gold: Russel - His Demons/monsters just made Hades for me (the unreleased stuff from Tome Grotesque looks sweet too) Silver: Chuck Walton - The few pieces I've seen are just super-realistic. Bronze: Bradshaw - nice deevils.
All round talent
Gold: Perez - Legend. Silver: Larry Mcdougal - Because it wouldn't have been RMB without him. Bronze: Kent Burles - My favourite landscape artist.

That's Freddie Williams II, not III.

My favorites are RK Post for interiors, and Brom for cover art.
I happen to love Bradshaw's work. I think its a welcome break from the norm. He wins forever for his awe-inspiring grotesquerie. And his zombies will always be WAY more disgusting than mine.
Some other all-time favorites are: Ramon Perez, Keith Parkinson, and Martin McKenna.

I had no idea you were present on the boards! I *LOVE* your stuff...particularly the little girl that is your avatar that I bought from you at the Open House.
My avatar is me as done by Freddie E. Williams, and my sig pic is me (as a crazy) done by Alan Manning.

Gotta say for mecha and tech I go with Long and Breux
Magic and organic stuff and people I lean towards Perez and Williams II
For color Parkinson by far with Brom a not so close second...
EDIT - After seeing rifter 49I have to add Mumah to my listof favourite artists. That Vampire Lord was just awesome looking to me.
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree
