I've never read Villains Unlimited. What is their motivation?
Currently recruiting for Beyond the Supernatural games in 2019 which I am running on Discord: voice, text, and play-by-post. Here is the non-expiring server invite link: 418BQSLG

Well, it say ther only purpose in life is to rain terror on earth for their own enjoyment.
they will perform any act of evil for the proper payment.
In some instance, payment can be the sheer enjoyment of a truly diabolical act. but that the 7 Wizards.
For entire race I say, humans suffering, each like to have a specific way.

I think they make good villians for heroes unlimited but their power would have to be scaled down ALOT for beyond.

Re: What do you think of the Terlins from Villains Unlimited?
Fair question.
In my case, unless the "child" is attacking your directly or was doing something so bad the character would feel obligated to where they "had" to try and kill it. I would require alignment checks, ME rolls, and potential sanity inducing penalites.
Its easy to call something evil, but looking at it and not being able to "see" the evil directly is another matter entirely.
